I used to really, really like Luke Bryan. But sadly, he's gone the way of just about every other "country" artist who makes the radio and hits it big and has sold the frick out. That song is laughably bad, and it damn sure isn't country.

What does it take for a country artist to "sell out," anyway? Honest question. The lot of them seem to be pretty grounded if you can gauge anything by their acceptance speeches on any one of what seems like almost weekly "Biggest Night of the Year for Country Music" awards.

I got a little change in my pocket going jingle lingle ling
want to call you on the telephone baby I give you a ring
but each time we talk I get the same old thing
always no huggin no kissin until I get a wedding ring
my honey my baby don't put my love upon no shelf
she said don't give no lines and keep your hands to yourself

Cruel baby baby baby why you want to treat me this way
you know I'm still your lover boy I still feel the same way
that's when she told me a story 'bout free milk and a cow
and she said no huggin no kissin until I get a wedding vow
my honey my baby don't put my love upon no shelf
she said don't hand me no lines and keep your hands to yourself

you see I wanted her real bad and I was about to give in
that's when she started talkin' true love started talkin' about sin
I said honey I'll live with you for the rest of my life
she said no huggin no kissin until you make me your wife
my honey my baby don't put my love on no shelf
she don't hand me no lines and keep your hands to yourself.

"Country music" of today is simply pop, rock, or even rap with a person with a southern accent singing or rapping. And the fact of the matter is that some of it is good music and entertaining; it' just NOT country music. I was driving yesterday morning and a slow Eagles song came on and I thought to myself that it's sad but a lot of the rock from the 70s is closer to true country music than the country music of today.

I agree that some rock and country are nearly the same and have influenced each other. I am a Dwight, Willie and Waylon fan. I realize there are a lot of great artists out there. I still like my rock. I am not a fan of this song.

At the very beginning of that video, the road on which they're driving is actually McGinnis Ferry going towards Gwinnett County right before it crosses the Chattahoochee River. You'll notice all the trees planted on the left. They're tiny in the video but now they're all 30-40 feet high. It also shows it from an overhead view at the very end of the video as the truck crosses the river into Gwinnett county. Pretty crazy how much things have changed.
