Top Billin' says Ringo is a safety. Is he right? He broke down some of Ringo's plays vs TN.

Looked he was playing wide receiver on that Hooker pass in the TN game.

Normally yes but Kirby likes tall corners. Tall corners fill out more.

He’s an all pro safety at the next level. He is athletic enough to get away playing corner in college

I agree ball skill wise. His hips seem a hair tight to me. But to play safety he’s got to play more physically. Embrace contact.

Top Billin said the same about Tyson Campbell as well. Big difference is Ringo is already safety sized.

I watched that and feel like it was click bait and out of context. Playing man against a 4.3 elite receiver and he pretty much shut him down. He didn’t get beat deep and that was the plan. Make them throw that long curl or the slant. Refs let the other guys get handy, but not him on a few plays. Anyone else who graded out like he did against that offense would get accolades.

The guy is a fricking idiot… straight up trash. He needs to close his account. He’s been told to so many times but keeps drooling.

Before the game, talking heads were saying it's better to tackle a receiver and take a penalty than let him beat you, because Hooker would make you pay. So Ringo plays physical and takes his chances with a flag. Catches the flag. Better than a TD. Seems like a smart player to me, physical, coachable, makes good decisions. Top Billin missed ALL of that.

He's still developing at corner.
This is his 2nd season playing.

Unfortunately, he had the medical redshirt his freshman year.

It is almost like comparing him to Tyson Campbell's 2nd year.

His best football is ahead. And the odds are that he will be a cornerback.

He says that about anyone who can tackle. Ringo has been a great CB. Leave him there.

Great I wouldn't go that far but he's definitely been good for us? But it's also hard to say considering He had a lot of guys that were good around him. Someone mentioned earlier about his hips being a little tight that was my same assessment, hopefully he'll continue to get better because he is definitely gone after this year.
