I'm still waiting for the "Jaden Reddell game." He is the biggest matchup nightmare we've got. It's coming at some point, dammit!

Canion seems to have that mythical never ending injury a UGA player seems to come down with every year at least once

Also why is Bowens listed as questionable? Wasn’t he confirmed to be done for the year? Getting him back would be massive, as would getting back blackshear. It would allow Dandridge to take a lot more snaps at slot where he can probably draw better mismatches. He has been so impressive this season. We need to pay him whatever it takes to keep him around.

I wonder if Taylor’s fumbler against UF is going to cost him snaps to London more going forward

Don't understood why they haven't made London Humphreys the X receiver and be done with it. He's stout enough and blocks like a wild man, and he's also one of the fastest players on the team.

This is the second Georgia coaching regime in a row that makes you wonder why they rotate receivers so much and have a hard time settling on roles for receivers.

i like that we attempted ever so slightly to involve him more against UF.
That pass down the middle against bama was so reminiscent to me of bowers' catch and run against tech in 21. I didn't realize he was that fast.

apparently the initial diagnosis of a lisfranc injury was incorrect and he will be able (hopefully) to play again. Based on the fact he's listed as questionable that seems more likely than not, but who knows

yeah the whole canion situation from beginning to end is so weird to me. People talk abotu like he's this big X-Factor variable, but based on what? Noah thomas was a much better version of the same kind of player and NT barely did anything here. We haven't used that big bodied, not-as-fast kind of receiver since Javon Wims. Colbie was that same body type but he was fast. Noah Thomas was ATM's #1 guy but hardly moved the needle here. Canion seems to be the same kind of player but came from an inferior school and at htis point in the season has very limited game reps. We have a crystal clear top 3 at the moment in Craig/Talyn/London so I'd prefer to just roll with them.

That's why I'm not all that excited about Canion and especially Thomas Blackshear coming back. If they're out there, that means that Dandridge, Humphreys or Taylor aren't.

Seems like we rotate a lot of receivers to try and keep all of them happy, but what if it means that none of them are happy? McConkey had more 100 yard receiving games in his first 11 games in the NFL than he had at Georgia. About half the teams in the SEC have two receivers with more yards per game than the Georgia receiver with the most yards per game (Dandridge is 28th).

At places where they have clear #1 and #2 receivers, at least the young receivers can tell themselves that one day I'll be the man. At Georgia, there isn't the man.

I wouldn't trade Kirby for any coach in the country and these are the glory days, but's it's all part of the Kirby Smart experience, similar to shutting down the playbook in the first quarter against our biggest rival when fans are thirsty for a beatdown.

He made a couple of good catches vs GA last year and the perception seemed to be he could do it against other SEC defenses

Maybe he is mentally fragile and possibly not as good as he thought against better competition

Georgia is first in the SEC in yards per game, which is the best stat to judge an offense, despite closing down the playbook half the time and refusing to throw over the middle of the field, because Kirby tells us that that's where tipped passes and interceptions and bad shite happens.

We are #1 in conference in yards per play in SEC play.

Shortening the games doesnt lead to total yards, though.

Offensive EPA is 4th in conference.

We move the ball.

Need to finish more drives (possibly turnover related).

Half the teams in the SEC have already paid two little debbies a bunch of money to come to their place this season, but I adjusted to SEC games only, and regardless it's still Georgia…

He's available to play tomorrow. Not on the updated injury report. Great intuition as always from you.

Available doesn't mean playing.
