Not my experience. No one dislikes Stet, but everyone recognizes that he’s a handicap.
Do you actually go to games and I speak with true Georgia fans?
I've tailgated with many different groups of Dawgs at many different venues and I haven't heard that. Not once.
And what about JTD's handicaps? He would have been sacked at least three times last night where Stetson was able to take the ball down and escape the defenders.

Imagine wanting your team to lose so your asinine narrative that Stetson can't beat Bama comes true.
Nobody on this board said that ever.
Believing that Georgia should be playing an NFL level QB does not equal "wanting your team to lose"
And objective fans does not equal "miserable people".
Bennett was the obvious choice as starting QB this season due to his experience and the injuries to Daniels.
I also don't know anyone personally who thinks that Bennett should not be our starting QB.
But there is no doubt that there are plenty of UGA fans who believe that we should have a more talented NFL level QB starting at the University of Georgia every season.

Man, don’t you know the JT deepthroaters firmly believe he has no weakness?

I don’t go to the games anymore. Most of my friends are fellow UGA alumni and I’m just telling you that the sentiment among my friends is that Stet is kinda ok probably not good enough to get it done against Bama.

Biggest handicap is that he’s taken almost no snaps since September.

Are they old crackers? That's his most loyal following and the ones who will tout him as some sort of All American QB.
The more objective fan base recognizes that he is the weakest link on a team deep with NFL talent on both sides of the roster. That doesn't mean he's bad. It just means he owes everything to an OL with multiple future NFL players, the best TE in the country, NFL backs, and basically 4-star and 5-star players everywhere else.
I believe we would be headed to the national title game with Greyson Lambert, Joe Cox or just about anybody else we've had at QB.

But Bennett is the QB that gives us the best chance to win.
Doesn't matter if he's an NFL caliber player if he can't beat out a walk on QB.
If he was so great, he would be playing these games. But he's not and thus, Bennett is the better QB.

Then how bout shutting the frick up about it since you seem to have accepted the fact he is our best option at this point?
Just kidding, we know you can’t help yourself.

Stetson can beat UM, he can’t beat Bama.
You can count the number of QBs currently playing college football on a few fingers that has proven they can beat Alabama. On the other hand, you can never say definitively that a QB cannot beat a team. That is just illogical. I would go out on a limb to say that Bennett can do it if Calzada can.
But...again....Bennett is not supposed to beat Alabama. Georgia is. If the whole team plays like they are capable Georgia can beat Alabama. Bennett on his own cannot. neither can Dean, Jordan or any other single player on our team.

The lucid, common sense, spiritus mundi of Dawgslife keeps me from completely cracking up.

Simply not true. There are several on this board that don't consider him a handicap. I know many others, Georgia fans and fans of other teams, that don't consider him a handicap. Do you include Kirby and Monken in that group of "everyone" you mentioned?

No one wants the dawgs to lose. I sure as hell hope we can beat Bama despite Stet’s inadequacy.
I guess one thing that has me perplexed is why Stetson? I get that he is the QB. He is the focal point.
But why not Dan Jackson, for instance? He has been beaten several times while playing in the secondary, yet not one thread about him. not one thread about the 4* and 5* players on the bench while he is on the field. Not one thread bemoaning his lack of stars, size. or relative lack of ability.
They seem laser focused on Bennett.
Here is a question for the Bennett detractors who say he "can't" beat Alabama.
Show us your betting slip with the money you have put down on Alabama. If he "can't" beat Alabama then it should be easy money and you can become wealthy almost instantly. Don't you think it is time to put your money where your mouth is?
Be real men and show us if you truly believe what you are saying.

Not a starter. Forced to start due to injuries
He’s also a white DB which is a limitation in and of itself

And yet he made the field ahead of Brini, Lassiter, Carrol and Kimber among others that were ranked ahead of him. And, wasn't Bennett forced on to the field due to an injury?

Dan doesn’t start when Chris is healthy. It’s not hard to understand….for most. JT is healthy
