would you do anything differently than you did in the game against UGA in Baton Rouge in 2018?

Just curious if any of y'all think they'll pretty much stick to the same plan since it worked well...

Look for lots of empty / 1 back sets with 4/5 WRs always being on the field for them. We haven't seen an offense like theirs yet this year and it'll be interesting to see how we scheme defensively against them. The good news is, we have 3 proven corners and veteran duo of safeties so we should keep everything in front of us. I do worry that they are going to pick on Divaad Wilson when he is on the field. You can bet they will notice he's the common denominator on big pass plays against us this year.

If Fromm plays like shite like he did last year at LSU, we lose this game. We have to get 31-35 points on the board or we don't win.

Somewhat but this is a very different offense. Basically Burrow is smart enough that he can diagnose most anything at the line & will audible out of bad plays to take what defense is giving. Teams try to disguise & confuse but the thing is he is so good at going through his progressions and moving around in the pocket to buy time that even then it doesn't work half the time.

UGA has to get pressure but not just up the middle or on the edges, you need both. And you need to do it without having to blitz a ton bc when he sees the blitz he's great at just throwing it wherever the blitz is coming from before it gets home.

Well, if you are gashing them with the run, don't go air raid all of a sudden like lardass did.

Nope. They have a much better offense and their defense is developing well around some excellent young talent and is underrated in my opinion. They sure shutdown Kellen Mond and A&M's offense better than we did.

Really hard to tell against Tamu, lsus offense made Tamu quit. Though honestly that was a revenge game and the players were sky high and it was not raining sideways.

Our offense rarely helps our D.

I'm hopeful that our offense can get it together, but i have no idea why i feel that way. I feel that at some point, they have to click.

I do worry that we will run, run, pass, punt ourselves into an arse whoopin

If you look at the box score for that game, it wasn't the passing game that got us. Burrow was like 15/30 for 200yds.

They had nearly 300yds rushing on us, including 66yds and 2TDs from Burrow.

I suspect the game plan will differ greatly from last season for both teams.

Correct and there's no way in Hell they get the same amount of rushing yards this year. Our D-line was paper thin last year and their defense was much better last year.

That's not exactly true. A&M missed on opportunities, and they made themselves one dimensional by falling behind.

LSU is susceptible to the run and play action, and their pass rush looks better v lines line A&M's. If UGA is disciplined on D and successful attacking the edge with the run this game is very winnable.

This. It was our mistakes that screwed us in that game.

It was our mistakes that screwed us against USCe.

It will be our execution and lack of mistakes that give us any chance against them.

In some ways, it is like the Rose Bowl game with the other team having an even better offense and defense.

We beat three top 15 teams to give ourselves a chance to be in THE game. The past is done. Time to leave it all on the field. I hope the team comes hyped and ready to ball.
