And youve completely lost perspective on what this whole thing is even about. It’s not about me. All I ever did was stand up to the miserable filth that shite on our program like clockwork at the first and slightest sign of adversity

If your idea of having fun is being abrasive and acting like a horse’s arse, then I suppose you are. I don’t buy it sport… you’re one angry person and it shows.

Go read the game thread or any game thread. Then come back and tell me who on here is angry and miserable and who is not.

I get that you are pissed at people that can’t just be happy with our success. Come on bud, acting like you are is not the way to expose them for fair weather type fans. I’ve been occasionally reading this site for four years and hardly ever comment. I do get a kick out of some of the humor on here. It’s never a good idea to attack people’s opinions in ad hominem manners just because you feel invested in a certain outcome. I’m sure when we hoist that NC trophy not one single damn will be given by anyone (including you) about who the quarterback was. So since this is a message board let people rant. Their ignorance will expose itself.

I’m one of the posters OP created this thread about. This failed attempt of a thread to flip flop and play victim.

Am I not allowed to respond to that and give it back? Please lay out the new rules for me

The were the 2nd best defense we played last year. Both safeties were drafted and Ahmad Gardner is a legit AA corner and probably a 1st rounder.

Absolutely right. they were very good. It doesn't change the fact that we had 12 players out. Some on offense and some on defense. Our OLine was makeshift and playing out of position.

Do you think our team, with all starters would have beaten them worse< or do you think our starters would not have made a difference?

What is your honest opinion of how Cincinnati would have done had they played an SEC schedule?

I don't know you and I am not Jefferson.....but isn't he the one arguing that he is happy with the way things are...and aren't you arguing that things need to be changed because.....?

He's the one that seems happy and you are the one that seems unhappy. Jefferson and i don't see eye to eye on most things, and I have no idea if we do on this. It is that reason that I think we should allow our coach to coach and stop looking for reasons to be unhappy.

They literally booed him in Sanford when he was announced as starter for UAB

Never forget. Never give quarter

Starters missing from the Cincinnati game:

ETA
I should have said players, not starters. My bad.

Junior defensive back Eric Stokes
Senior linebacker Monty Rice
Senior Defensive back D.J. Daniel
Senior guard Ben Cleveland
Senior tight end Tre Mckitty
Jermaine Johnson DE
Freshman running back Kendall Milton (knee).
Senior safety Richard LeCounte (undisclosed).
Junior running back James Cook.
Senior center Trey Hill (knees).
Freshman corner back Kelee Ringo (shoulder).
Freshman receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint (leg).

Are you telling me that Cincinnati would have still been in the game had these guys played?
We tend the build Cincinnati up because the game was so close.

No I am ecstatic about the way the team is playing and how the season is going. I would be remiss if I didn’t say that I thought our QB play was less than stellar this past weekend. I mentioned that I thought that JT should have the talent advantage and that he should be given the chance to sink or swim. From what I can gather I accidentally inserted myself into an ongoing feud between a group of people that are declaring jihad against another group that they perceived as negadawgs. I explained over and over that I will pull for Stet if he is the man or JT if he is either way I’m fine. I just think JT should be given that opportunity and that seems to be an unforgivable sin. Judging by the way he posts he seems not to be having fun. So I pointed it out.

I certainly think James Cook woulda made an impact but by no means do we blow em out. That really wasn't the point though. You
said they were a "pretty good P5 team"...somewhat of a backhand compliment at best and JT scorched
a very good secondary and was under some extreme pressure throughout the game.

Not sure but I think they hold their own against everyone but Bama.

This is an interesting psychosis that goes back to the Eason/Fromm/Fields days...and possibly earlier.

Key symptoms that I've noted:

1) Has a specific "guy" they want to play
2) Said "guy" is not playing based on reps, health, experience, etc.
3) Believe that their "guy" is better and should be playing despite coaches opinions
4) Believe their "guy" is the one key that leads to the natty. Their football "savior"
4) Anyone perceived as being a barrier to their "guy" playing is to be mocked and hated
5) Any success being had by other "guy" has nothing to do with them....it's the defense, running game, inferior competition, etc.
6) Any praise of the other "guy" must be attributed to some bias and attacked immediately.

Did I miss anything? I'm working on a white paper.

It is not a feud, we are mocking them.

I think that's a good starting point. But it's more of a problem statement. A good white paper offers explanations as to why, and sometimes, solutions.
