Just watched UAB, the long passes he threw were wide arse open..... Just as many short to mid passes that went a long ways.
Truth is, UAB was inept. Austin Peay sat in 3-3-5 so shite wasn't wide arse open.

Arkansas did that in 2021 and we ran for 273 yards and passed for 72. Take what they give you.

I think you do when you are in a conference game. I think you make the team work through hardship vs Austin Peay.
We haven't had any wr as open this season as they all were vs UAB. Our WRs and DBs were just playing center field in that one.

I watched all of Aaron Murray's tape from Plant HS. He was the most amazingly accurate roll out passer. Murray was great on the run. I was excited when he signed. Richt and Bobo were determined to convert Murray into an immobile pocket passer. The early growing pains were costly.

I was there as well. Opening drive we move it down the field to their 1-yard line and have fourth and goal. Bobo calls a play in ready to run and Richt overruled him and kicked the field goal instead. It was pretty much all downhill the other 50 minutes of the game. One of the worst games I've ever been to.
