UGA 25/31 free throws, UKKK 7/14. Being aggressive and cashing in on the freebies will go a long, long way towards winning games at any level of basketball.

Lot of people said we'd only win two SEC games, yet here we are at .500. I know the league is terrible, but i still think Fox did a terrific job this year.

Nest year is gonna be fun.

what a classless dick!

Despite our "shitty team," I love that we might have kept Uk and Ut out of the tourny...

Without KCP, I don't see any reason to look forward to next year. JMO

If he is a projected first round draft choice he will leave. He is crazy if he doesn't.

Everyone I've heard says he's going to return.

Btw, anyone know why the AJC headline says "Late rally leads UGA past kentucky"? Late rally? I'm pretty sure we were ahead like 95% of the game, didn't really trail in the second half, and blew a 4 or 5 point lead with about 7 or 8 minutes left all the way up to about 14 or so with time running out.

Anything that follows this will be answered with a "who the frick knows."

The AJC is a piece of shite newspaper for sports.

You're giving them to much credit. They're a piece of shite for pretty much everything they cover.

Oh yeah, I know the AJC blows and is especially awful when it comes to UGA. Just thought the headline was especially baffling since it wasn't really rooted in reality.

Basketball is different than football in this aspect. Leave if you're a projected lottery pick. If not, come back and improve your game. If you really think about it, it is hard to name an NBA superstar who wasn't a lottery pick.

Right, first round in NBA isn't nearly the same as first round in NFL. If you can believe it, a week ago KCP was actually falling on some NBA draft boards, one had him all the way down to 30th. There are questions about his frame/size/strength at the next level. He also doesn't really drive to the basket a ton and has a tendency (SOMETIMES) to just stay out of the play and chill out on the side.

Those are things scouts might look at and consider. I'm not knocking him one bit, I love the hell out of him, I'm just saying those are things that experts might look at in a negative light. And I actually hope they do, because if/when he comes back next year we could easily be a tourney team.

To add to my original thought, if you name the top 15 or so NBA players, Tony Parker is the only one who wasn't taken in the lottery. That's it. KCP needs to stick around

Plus look at some of the studs associated with UGA recently that have gone to the draft early. HT3, Leslie, Lou Williams, etc. Lou went out of high school and went straight to the D league for a few years before getting NBA ready. Leslie is still in the D league. Who the hell knows what trey is doing.

I think KCP knows deep down he SHOULD come back, but for a 20 year old kid getting a couple hundred grand would be mighty tempting in the short run.

I thought even unheralded rookies still got a big wad in the nba.
