a. inability to adjust to outside pressure, stacking box for six straight series.
b. inability to recognize clemson was changing d formation after murray audibled.

most disturbingly, the small things, there were many that seperated us and them but...

c. on the punt clemson misplayed in endzone our guys pulled up. 49 just stood there. we had 5 guys around the ball and one clemson guy had presence of mind to pick up ball and get it out of endzone.
d. penalties killed drives.
e. play action was not working...short quick passes against pressure.
f. botched snap...failure to execute.
g. deer in headlights quarterbacking with time clock.

on and on. the criticism of bobo and richt i dont normally get on with but it is the small moments that caused the loss.

d played fine enough to win..

It was a team loss.

O played fine enough to win.
D played fine enough to win.
Coaching was fine enough to win.

Throw it all together, too many mistakes all over the field.
It is what it is.

We need Gurley healthy next week and our defense better strap their helmets on because Spurrier is going to try and run it down our throats and the first week of the season is not a good sign that we will be able to handle it.

Late in the 4th, y'all had it, 4th down and Richt chose to punt, I think 5 yards was all that was needed. Gurley was avg'ing 12 yards per carry, and so was Hicks. Murray was avg'ing 11 yards a completion...why punt? That was a coaching error in judgement.

Happens a lot. Welcome to the life of a UGA fan. Agreed FWIW.
