Can we get clarification on what "make a case" means?
If he simply talks about their resume and season to this point and that they're sitting 5th and anything could happen that's kinda just talking facts. Something like "if blah blah blah, then they should be in" is obviously making a case.
I only ask bc I can see a point in the broadcast where the playoffs are discussed and bamas name would inevitably come up at that time. Just want to know what we're calling case making.

Its like you said.....Listing the variables that the committee will have to work with and running possible scenarios isn't "making a case". But, injecting his slobbering opinion about Alabama still being one of best 4 teams even without Tua like he did last week definitely is.
Once we have specific testimony from him on the record, I think it'll be obvious whether he made a case or not. If its not obvious, we can always summon the council of champions for a ruling.
