Well done.
Not the worst statistical play, you have a 50% chance of advancing instead of a 4/7 or 3/6 chance. And you don’t have to worry about your picks or alliances and can watch the game in peace (other than the halftime show)

Sucks to suck, but I sucked this week and my death was all but guaranteed.

I really wanted to volunteer, but based on years' past the death-off would probably be something like picking "left or right" dr. pepper can thrower which is leaving things too up to chance for my liking. At least with the game picks, even if your odds of winning are lower, you've got your fate in your own hands.

Yeah, I get that. But Jeff is pretty fair, if nothing else. I have to believe he's going to be creative with it. But as said earlier, we're at the "all-in" point. Gotta be willing to make the tough decisions at this juncture.

Wasn't sure anyone would actually step up. I died in one of these a few years ago. It's actually a really good gamblers high, right up until it starts. When your ball tosser who wants tuition money to fight for sustainable clothing to save us from SUV fumes misses their first ten balls in a row.

Dr Pepper usually releases pics and bios of the finalists in the days right before the game.
So, we will be having a Draft this year.
Sic Em gets first pick for stepping up and volunteering, then Tween, and then back and forth until all dr pepper contestants are picked.
We'll do it this way because we won't know the actual two contestants until halftime.
Details to follow. Choose wisely, gentlemen

dammit! I like this format. One year me and lew had a death-off in this but it was a "left or right" situation, totally up to chance. One side was a female minority and the other was an athletic looking dude. It soured me to the whole deal.

If it was me I would avoid him like the plague. There's no way someone like that can throw a football accurately.
although...lately people have stopped throwing like a man and done that 2 handed chest pass which is bullshite, he might actually be good at that. So I have no idea.
