Sorry man. Tried warning multiple times....I don't want to see anyone go out like that.

You're not alone though. There were about 5 that killed themselves this week. And a couple no-shows...

So... are we still ritually sacrificing or letting the suicides stand in? I just wanna know if I should be planning to make picks later this week or not

Well I just went back and re-read. My reading comprehension skills should have been better considering that I'm a "learned" man.

I appreciate the opportunity JD. Next year.....

I wish we had a continually updated thread showing who is still alive and who is out each week. But I can see how that could be difficult to manage too.

Something to consider for the Captains, I suppose. Maybe we can get DGD to offer a sticky as well

I double-checked and still have you at -20.

Maybe you're forgetting to add in the Bonus, which you Picked correctly....

We'll finish this up tomorrow. But, in the meantime, if any of the following want to double-check their scores, have at it.....

Daves Dawgs -36K

Jeff, this is correct. My fallacy (and I think others were thinking the same way) was thinking that you could simply subtract the winnings total from the total bet, 50k, to get what what you have left. However, this doesn't account for the positive effect of the winnings. In fact when you subtract the winnings from the total bet = the losses, added to the winnings yields what remains of the total bet. In my case: 50k minus 2k in winnings = 48k in losses; plus the 2k in winnings = -46k total losses out of the 50k + the 10k bonus = 36k. Thanks for the Math lesson.

No worries.

For those that still might not fully understand it, just know that all the scores are all being tallied the exact same way........so this provides a standard for them to be compared to each other.

I just worry about some math errors....which is why people should continue to double-check the math if they care to. We'll do results later tonight when i have time..

See.....I didn't even add yours up for some reason.

I'll have to go back over this line by line and do one last check later just to make sure nothing else fell through the cracks.......

I double-checked mine again and it looks like I'm still sitting pretty (ugly?) at -30K.

Thanks for doing the math. This week had to suck for you
