Harbaugh's tweet about Kirby LINK

If the Georgia coach is implying any intent on our part to break rules, he is barking up the wrong tree.
What Kirby said
quote:
“They’re obviously trying to gain a competitive advantage and that’s their right. But I think the NCAA in due time will have to step in,” Smart said, adding later: “I don’t know how it’s going to go down. It’s going to be interesting to see, though.”
“There’s a lot of factors that people don’t think about in that deal,” Smart said. “You’ve gotta think about recruiting rules, how are they going to handle those, is it an advantage, disadvantage? Are they gonna let other coaches come to it, are they gonna hold open practices? Do we all come in there and watch them and scout them? If they’re all open practices why don’t we go and watch them. It’s a Pandora’s Box of what it’s going to get into, obviously.”
“I don’t want to get into doing it, because I’d like to practice right there at my facility, and I’d also like to have the prospects that are in the state (of Georgia) come to our practices and us not have to go to them,” Smart said. “It’s important for them to get on campus because ultimately that’s where they’re going to spend their next four to five years, on that campus, not wherever they’re at practice.

Smart chess move by Harbough. Hopefully "the Georgia coach" doesn't take the bait.

Harbaugh is a complete tool and I don't understand any recruit ever wanting to play for him.

Harbough sends out a harmless tweet. And now UGA media is falling all over themselves writing articles giving him publicity and explaining to the country that Michigan isn't breaking any rules.
Advantage Harbough. Well played.

Motives or not, rule breaking or not, he's a huge tool.

Harb wants some of the georgia recruits, and this is a very smart way to get a foot in the door.

Do you think he said "barking up the wrong tree" on purpose too as a veiled dawg reference? Barking....get it? or am I reading too much into it?
I think this dude is some kind of idiot savant. Glad to have some characters in college football. It's good for it.

Kirby is correct that the NCAA will have no choice but to shut this down. Otherwise, the top five or more profitable schools could do the same and also take the current players to Hawaii to practice for a week. How many schools can afford that? If Harbaugh does not like Michigan, he should take a job else where. Maybe he should practice in Columbus, Ohio so he can pick up their recruits?

Coaches calling out other coaches on Twitter is pretty fricking lame.

Meh, maybe Harbaugh means that there's other things going on the NCAA should focus on. Hence "wrong tree". Regardless, Kirby is right and the shite will stop eventually.
Still, douche move to take it to twitter.

Harbaugh's not "miffed." Harbaugh is loving this, and got exactly what he wanted.

Smart should ask Michigan players why they are practicing in Florida? Oh yea, because it's freezing arse cold in Michigan.
