Yes and with the same offensive and defensive lines. Including linebackers and quarterback. Yes, the supporting cast is not the best, but we ran through everybody when Quavon is in the game and that opened up many great passing chances for Murray.

I have not seen a bunch of missed tacked this year. Just good tackles 5-10 yards downfield

A strong team is a complete team. That is something that we are not nor were not.

There are no complete teams in college football. Period. Everybody has there weaknesses. I don't care what team it is, they all have weaker points on the team. The strongest team at all points and that is well coached wins.

We're playing guys who never thought they'd get a meaningful snap.

Our top 5 offensive weapons are gone. We have those guys, or even just 3 of them, we're 6-1.

Haha mine is too. Apology accepted smartarse.

Complete team would be one that is well coached IMO. After watching us on Saturday, I had chills watching Auburn and Tamu. Those teams are fundamentally sound. Both have crap Defenses and Auburn is a completely new team. Night and day from our coaching fellas. If Gus and Co. had UGA's players and facilities to work with they would be unstoppable this year!

Reasons to blame Grantham.
1) Its his job to coach up the defense...he is not.
2) Its his job to come up with a good defensive gameplan every week...he hasn't come close...5 31 pt games and counting
3) Its his job to coach fundamentals....tackling...shedding blocks...reading plays...he def has fricking not
4) Its his job to recruit for his system...if the guys are not up to standard...again his fault.
5) Its his job to develop talent....I remember a few times last year where we should have subbed in alot of the guys that are starting this year...he didnt.. He only cont'd to pad the stats of the 7 guys who were either graduating or we KNEW were going to to the draft...either way...terrible.
6) Its his job to monitor his underlings...beside Wilson, the new guy, the other defensive coaches have eaten a big dong.
7) He has yet to take any blame whatsoever and continues to "We arelearning" bullshite he has been feeding us through 1/2 the season...now that we are officially heading into a Dec 31 bowl...maybe then the d will be ready ?

Dont come inhere and say dont blame Grantham. frick off

You forgot to mention his pay-grade. Can you imagine what kind of coaching we could have with all of the resources utilized properly at UGA?? To much Fixed income on our balance sheet boys. Time to start depreciating....FAST!

Bollocks.

Vanderbilt's offense did wonders against our defense considering the rain and a backup goddamn quarterback.

Grantham blows.

Tackling and wrapping up are useless when you can't cover receivers on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and sometimes 4th down....Grantham's defense is way to complicated to be teaching to college kids who have to deal with classes and such! Nice try though! Watch a game sometimes you might learn something!

Nobody is ever to (blame) in our organization. Its where coaches can come get paid to basically vacation at a university, without worrying about getting fired. Its the perfect job really.

I know we blame Todd Grantham because of our lackluster Defense. Not making excuses but our guys miss a lot of tackles. Herrera and Wilson seems as if they can't get off a block, and don't try. Not making excuses but Grantham can only coach them up. The players have to make the plays. On most run plays I count at least 4 missed-tackles per play.

Tackling is a fundamental that one loses if one does not practice good technique on a regular basis.....I think the D spends so much time working out the complicated scheme that Grantham insists on (and has no other scheme at all when the one he knows fails) that we are not fundamentally sound. That is squarely on the shoulders of the DC....
