It's possible, I guess. Once we saw thatw e could not get to him with 3-4 we should have adjusted. Instead we waited until the seonc half, and we aran out of time.
We adjusted in 2017, and I feel like we will adjust again. We'll see, hopefully. Gotta get past Michigan, first.

I tend to agree. We need this game badly. It won't finish us, but it sure won't help, either

The data on bama is clear this year and it's that you have to pressure the hell out of them and that slows them down tremendously. If we lose to bama because bryce got loose from the pocket and scrambled on us, eh fine. that is more acceptabel than letting him sit back and look like tom brady throwing dimes to the same 2 guys all day.

I also think minus Metchie, while Bama will still always be dangerous for hitting the big play, they will be without a bullet in their chamber. So the risk of bringing 6-7 at times won’t be as high.

Their running game shoudl be better than it was last week and I think I saw somewhere that jojo earle, basically a waddle clone, might be back. They're alwasy gonna have weapons on offense but if they have less than 2 seconds to get em the ball that would sure feel a lot better than givnig them 3-5 seconds and letting them run through an open zone d

If we have to bring 6 or 7 at a time then we don't deserve to win. If 4 and 5 isn't enough to get adequate pressure then we don't deserve to win because we aren't who we thought we were. Bringing high numbers like that is just going to be countered with screen plays for likely TD's on each one. Maybe instead of trying to do fancy shite we should just do what made us 12-0 and blowing out pretty much everybody in the process. And if they beat us, they beat us.

But schemes and plans are a big piece.
Look at the Ravens and Lamar Jackson in the NFL. Last three weeks he's been horrible. Why? Teams are bringing pressure (designed pressure) and he's not been very good.
The team that says "look at all these other teams having great success bringing 6 or 7 against Lamar. We're too good for that let's bring four" prolly loses.
