Well...not surprising. We are in the bottom ten teams in college football in third down conversion.

And then...we go for a field goal which is guaranteed to miss....

Why not just take the chance on 4th and 5?

We have no competent field goal kicker at the moment.

Agree with this. At this point, you either punt or go for it

Not even joking, I'd be okay if we didn't kick another field goal this year and just went for it every 4th down.

I know why they tried it this time. CKS wanted to give Rodrigo a shot at it.

Hoping that we don't try any more today.

Geez Kirby...accept it. We can't kick field goals. Just freakin' roll the dice. We have at least as good a chance to convert the first down!

I just cant understand how our football team can't get a better kicker than these two guys.

we are bottom in 3rd down conversions because Cheney has no patience for a sustained drive. 1st down and he throw to the EZ. Grind it out!

We make that kick 50% time probably, and get the conversion 50% of the time.

Absolutely should have gone for it.

I've seen this with other teams but it looks like the place-holder is placing the ball to far to the inside. The kicker shouldn't be worried about having to come inside the left leg of the place-holder to strike the ball at the appropriate point of contact.

Supposedly Eason is the best holder on the team. Not sure if it's true.

It's just not fair with their tall receivers who can catch the ball.
