I’m honestly at a loss if it’s a lack of route running ability or lack of risk taking by Jake. He rarely tests the middle of the field, even when he goes long it’s to outside the hash

My guess is that his strength is the outside throw and we've got big receivers and TEs that should come down with those balls and aren't.
Woerner didn't look like he had his feet right and couldn't get any height.

He is supposed to be an NFL caliber QB according to just about everyone. If he is weak throwing the skinny post or crossing patterns between the LBs and Safeties.....he has little shot at making the league.
