We had a couple of hours before the SECCG and hung out in the CNN center. It’s like a mall food court but you’ve got a few places to get food and beer. Everything else was nuts to butts crowded….so this actually turned out okay.

It’s pricey but I always like parking in the red or silver deck for the Benz or State Farm. It’s right there by the stadium and I don’t have to worry about my shite getting stolen or my vehicle broken into. Red deck is only 6’8” clearance though. I had to do silver for the higher clearance for my truck for the seccg. Buy a pass online and print it. Worth the $$ to me for the security and no hassle trying to find a spot once you get there.

I’m going to do you a solid here but I warn you people will tell you I’m nuts.

Park at the westlake Marta station and ride in. Get off at vine city stop it’s next to stadium. Red deck across from Mercedes took 45 mins to get out of the oregon game. Gonna be like that everywhere downtown.

Westlake is in the ghetto but it’s directly off i20 with fenced in parking. When leaving the Benz take the ramp across the street to the Marta station. Once you get off the train back at westlake you’ll be on the interstate in 3 mins.

I have hawks season tickets I park in the ruby lot. We intentionally didn’t get parking for this game near the stadium.

Look up the Home Depot lot for tailgating outside the stadium.

I usually use spot hero for parking for events downtown. Pretty convenient and inexpensive: LINK

Arrive early and park at lot near Ferris Wheel. Easiest exit. Access to CNN bathrooms.

Many of restaurants are full day off. Make a reservation if any lefts

Margaritaville decent place to watch other game

Inside..best food is the brisket grilled cheese stand..maybe behind 107

Whenever we go to MBS we park at the College Park(we live in Griffin) MARTA station and take the train in. It's so much more convenient and it's free parking.

You could also use the Vine City station.

Indian creek is a 45 min ride home AFTER you get on the train. We used to do that for Falcons games back in the Mora petrino years. Drive to westlake and you’ll get home much faster

Westlake is on the opposite side of Atlanta.... I do not understand your tactic.

Well you could take Marta. It will absolutely be your best bet! If you are on the Eastside park at Indian Creek and ride on in! If you are on the Northside, use Perimeter Station. Westside??? Yea it sounds crazy but Westlake Station is damn solid!!! It’s my old neighborhood. If not Westlake, go to Hamilton E Holmes… but remember Hamilton will be filled quickly!

They have some restaurants within walking distance of the Benz. But honestly they ain’t worth a flip! Take an Uber over to the Westside Provisions for some good food and drinks.

I personally stay 8 minutes from the BENZ. And I OWN a Benz! So I will be parking in the exclusive Mercedes Benz parking lot directly across from the Stadium

Hey, if you wanna pay for parking and wait 30-45 minutes in traffic, be my guest.

I'll take the train and be home by then.

lol

After a major sporting event like this is probably the safest you'll ever be on Marta. After the game it will be filled with thousands of UGA/osu fans all taking the same trains to mostly the same places to drown out the riff raff.

I'd much rather ride marta at night after a UGA game than a 10am on a tuesday morning. In those situations it might be only you and the criminal or deranged in a car by yourselves.

We parked in the Ruby lot for the SECCG, and fate had us on the ground level right by the train tracks. That gives you an immediate out on the side street beside the AJC printing facility, exiting on Marietta.

If your seats are in the 300 level, may the Force be with you. There's not a bad seat in the house, but the pitch/angle of those upper deck steps is brutal. I was getting leg cramps midway thru the 2nd quarter after making two trips during pregame.

I don’t remember having to wait to get out of red or silver too much except way back in like 2004 the traffic getting out of there after state semi finals in the dome was bad. And one time after a PBR I went to.
