Everything we were taught in physics class was a lie. Fields isn’t suppose to be able to move like that being built like that.

He definitely has a second gear. He can from trot to Olympic in two strides.

Was Fields ever sacked in high school? He looks like he’s not even worried about the first guy that gets through.

Fields has the warp-speed turbo acceleration burster torque of a white tail deer.

Study the above carefully and you’ll agree.

Things are about to get pretty scary

You can’t bench Fromm though. He’s proven he can do everything to get you there.

I’m getting stressed out, man.

Yeah I don’t want to see Fromm at bama playing for Dabo after Hurts tranfers to auburn and Tua is a bust causing saban to retire.

It’s usually the second guy that gets him if he stays long enough. He usually makes the first guy whiff. AA, got him a few times but not directly Fields basically ran into because of pressure from the other side.

Today, some have complained he holds on to the ball a little. But that’s kind of the nature when you have a quick release and can escape like that. You hope he’s able to do that until the hope run opens up.

He’s scary good.

Another thing that needs to be pointed out, is how Fields clearly forgot several times about only having to be touched to be called down.

And he grinned and giggled about it, like it was a joke and no big deal, and nobody did anything. But..... if a defender had forgot about the same thing and tackled his arse, Kirby would be there going full berserker about to rip somebody's trachea out.

On the other side, Fromm never forgot the rules. Fromm had the situational awareness and presence of mind. He stopped running after he got touched as refs blew the whistle. Fromm is a highly intelligent and responsible QB. Frommward.

Fields looked really good but Fromm has a more compact throwing motion. Fromm gets the ball out faster. When Fields throws a swing pass he turns before getting cocked giving the defender a jump on the ball. I like to see a QB start to get his arm cocked before he turns to the swing pass.

Fromm will probably be the starter all year but I doubt that Fields redshirts or plays limited packages. There might be a few bumps in the road.

Fields is just far beyond Fromm physically, but Fromm will be the starter.

Swing pass is not something you see a lot in HS. Fromm has had a year to work on that, in HS they usually throw WR screens if they throw on the edge.

What is unquestionable though is Fields can throw a Laser and touch. The TD throw was unbelievable. He had a defender jumping in his face and he tilts back and puts it in 18” hole where only the receiver can get it. And this isn’t first time he has done that. Watch his tape. Dude is so accurate it’s not fair.

The throw on the sideline for the first where he pulls to run up the middle and the rifles it out. That’s filthy. What if that was swift, crumpton, white or cook, that’s not a first down that’s 40 if not the house.

I’m not saying Fromm should lose his job over a spring game. He should start this year. But you ain’t making Fields sit the next 3 either. If you can’t see the talent that UGA has never had the QB position in him, then you have an agenda period.

These are good points.

Honestly though, the one to watch is neither Fromm nor Fields....

This is about Kirbs.

He's got pocket aces pre-flop. Bet is his. More cards comin. Sharks in the water. Onward

Yea, It was weird seeing Fromm flustered. He was never rattled this past season. I thought after he threw the pick six, that he'd get it together like he usually does after a mistake but we never had rhythm.

I'm not going to read too much into it, i think our D is going to be filthy if we can stay healthy.

Was there, watched not impressed. His drills didn't show me anything. Fromm, no reason to second guess
