We will be the best team they’ve played by far. It would be interesting.

You're right about being the best opponent Alabama would have played and it would certainly be interesting, but Alabama hasn't lost by 2 touchdowns to anyone in the last decade.
I'm excited for the potential matchup. The last 3 SEC Championship Games have been boring as hell.
The Saban/Kirby storyline, CFP berth on the line, etc. should make for a hell of a game.

Can't imagine them no keeping 7-8 in the box at all times. The talent at WRs, TEs, and backs in unison will give a team like Bama coverage problems.
Chaney hasn't displayed the ability to get everyone involved like the Falcons were able to do last season. I hope he's been hoarding unseen formations for Bama.

Last ten years? UGA only lost by 4 points in 2012.

You misunderstood my post.
I said Alabama has not been beaten by 14 or more points in a decade.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Do we have a shot
Well we definitely have a shot. But depending on how we play our remaining games I dont think we'd be the favorite. What we've been doing to opponents this year - they've been doing too.
But a win would be oh so glorious.....

One thing I've learned over the 50+ years I've been a Dawg fan is not to listen to people who act like they know everything about football.
If the Dawgs continue to improve each week as they have been doing all this season then when we play Bama in the SECCG, we have a good chance of beating Bama.
Don't forget, last year all the "experts" thought Clemson had no chance of beating Bama and look what happened.
If things go our way, I see the possibility of a Georgia/ND rematch for the National Championship.

One thing I've learned over the 50+ years...
-So is he. The old man knows his Georgia football. I think we have a legitimate shot at beating them but he is being cautious.

Bama is going to get exposed in the next four weeks.
They are a very solid football team, and champ caliber, but they aren't the world beaters that could "play in the NFL" that we've seen in years past.

Just curious. Did he go to UGA? If so, what years did he attend UGA?
I attended UGA from 64-68.

The first thing a Dawg fan learns is to always be cautious about the Dawgs winning.
If you get too cocky then the Dawgs always find a way to bring you back down to reality.

I need to watch them more and make an assesment. My concern is the cliche that they're strength plays to our strength as they're built the stop the run. As much as our line has improved I don't like our oline vs their dline. I think we can hold their offense but scoring on them will be a problem. Also I would expect Fromm to be under atrack the whole game.

The Auburn game will answer all the questions I still have about our O-Line.

This could be the greatest SEC Champ game in history. 1 VS 2. Can't make this shite up.

It was 1 vs 2 in 2008.

Agreed. I had no problem being confident about FL - or SC for that matter at home. AU has me worried and I'll be a basket case if we make it to the SECCG.
