I'll second The Place- everything I've eaten (or drank) there has been top notch. Really good burger, plus the hanger steak and chicken+waffle entrees are incredible, especially for the price. At lunch they have a meat + three that is really good too. Definitely in my top 3 places to eat in Athens.

The menu is really off-putting for me, design-wise. I don't know why it annoys me. The fact they use the word "Veggie" and it isn't a kids menu, that's a trigger word for me.

Late to the game here, but if y'all have not gone to Donna Chang's in 5 points, you should definitely try it next time you have the opportunity. It is a fantastic restaurant imo. It's basically high-end, very well done Chinese food and cocktails. The cold peanut noodles are terrific as well as the General Tso's chicken. Really everything I have had there is at least quite good if not excellent. Nice space as well. Also, the name is a reference to Seinfeld.
