Cincinnati Tubervilles currently tied with #6 Houston.. with Jessie Palmer and some other guy in the booth.

So did Pollack get pro-moted or de-moted?

They aren't making the money they used to and Pollack is much more expensive than he was earlier in his career. Notice how they don't even do CFB Live in the same studio anymore. ESPN paid out WAY too much coin on tv contracts, they can't afford the talent anymore. Add their subscribers declining every year and you have a problem.

Disney is making them cut $100 million this year and something close to $300 million in 2017. ESPN is going to be a lot different in a couple of years. A ton of new faces will pop up and the big names, a lot of them already, will jump to other networks.

I'm a little over a year into a full ESPN boycott (except for actual live college games. No getting around that)

I'd try to explain the liberation of not having that garbage in my brain, but that would defeat the purpose.

Back to Pollack: I feel like I didn't appreciate the Davis/Palmer /Pollack Thursday night trio enough at the time. Kind of miss it now. Also, this is turning out to be a great game

I like Davis much more than Chris Fowler both on Gameday and in the booth.

The commentators for the UNC game sounded like CNN calling a football game. They were trying to make up a QB controversy.
Just as CNN and Fox try to make news instead of just report it. Even the freaking weather channel does it now.

One doesn't ask for margin expansion justification, one just accepts margin expansion.

FS1 is taking all their talent and isn't saddled with billions of dollars

I read an article last year about it, but don't remember where I saw it. Here is another article claiming $100M and $250M

Why oh why would you do a thing like that? They are trying to guess RPI %'ages on CFB Daily and the loser has to eat a 'hot wing'. This is pure entertainment!!
