Was hoping he would choose to stay.

Between him and Roquan I thought we would at least keep 1 of the 2.

If he keeps balling out, he should make even more bank next year when he heads off to the NFL.

Very good news indeed. Deandre Baker was definitely one the bright spots in our secondary last season.

I Am Glad He Decided To Stay! Maybe Someone Will Teach Him The Proper Use Of Capitalization Before He Graduates.

Baker is such a quiet force on the team. I see his leadership to be a lot like Chubb's was on the O. Not the most outspoken player on the team, but a firm hand on the pulse in the locker room.

To this point, I think Big Trent is the only one who was leaving early that fricked up.

I’m actually ok if he types in Yiddish as long as it says he’s returning to play shut down corner.

I've said this before on here.

Trent is like Isaiah McKenzie. They aren't student athletes. They are athletes.
They can grow and develop as players and men in the NFL just as well as they can while in college. And they get paid during that development.

If Trent was the man off the field like Chubb/Roquan, then I would agree with you that he's making a poor decision and that coming back would be in his best interest. He's just not a college football player. He's a fish out of water.

I wish him nothing but the best.

That's fair enough. We don't know how many of the demons of last off-season Trent was able to shake.

Very nice, Baker is basically a shutdown corner, if we can pair him with a returning guy that's a incoming impact frosh that bodes well for us next year...

My bad, meant if we can pair him with an incoming freshman corner like Campbell or ITS, that would be a nice CB duo to help the back end of our defense next year.

If he just even slightly gets better and replicates this season, he can sneak into the end of the first round. He made the right call.
