Everytime I tuned in tonight our team missed a shot under the basket. Shots in the paint are a huge weakness on this team

But seriously. There isn't just one pinpoint issue. It's poor effort on both ends from some guys, it's incomprehensibly bad possessions as though they don't give a frick about keeping the ball sometimes. Long stretches where it seems like someone has saran wrapped our goal and we can't buy a shot...

Not all of those will be "fixed" with a real PG, but I'm pretty convinced that most of them get better.

So next years roster will be: Assuming all qualify and sign respectively...

Some pretty good length once again with some additional fire power but still lack a true PG. I’m hoping Crean can get a JUCO PG or a reliable PG for next year. That team on paper looks to be slightly better obviously, with the addition of Edwards, and the progressions of Hammonds and Claxton... but not out of this world great. We shall see.

Y’all have played us tough both games. I think Crean can turn y’all around

So we have four scholarships coming available and Crean recently spoke of not renewing some scholarships. If we got Lester and Precious, we would have 5 incoming freshman and someone would get cut. I wonder who it would be. Maybe Sargiunas or Toppin.

So we’d be adding:

#2. Anthony Edwards 6’5 CG, most likely run the show from point
#13. Precious Achiuwa 6’9 SF/Stretch 4 starter
#64. Lester Quinones 6’5 CG Possibly a starter mostly likely first off the bench.
#68. Jaykwon Walton 6’7 SF Depth
#95 Toumani Camara 6’7 SF Depth

It’s not impossible for Jaykwon Walton to end up starting and I believe Toumani is underrated. This would be an incredible haul and we’d be competing for the league.

Nothing is out there with Precious Achiuwa and UGA as of now but until 3 weeks ago the same was said for Lester Quinones.

Will be interesting to see how things workout. None the less next season could be really fun esp if this team can improve and get better going into the offseason.

Haven’t heard anything of the sort DD is claiming but not saying it’s not true or won’t happen either. The only other thing I heard, was from an insider at Dawgnation claiming Crean was gonna try and go after a JUCO PG or grad transfer PG, but obviously that can’t happen until seasons end.

We said the same thing about Edwards and we landed him. Edwards will get Quinones and then Achiuwa after that.

Type in Lester Quinones on Twitter and look at his final 7. Then go through and look at his likes. He did an interview within the last several days and stated that he and Precious have talked about a lot about playing together. In another tweet from the same interviewer he says he is likely to visit Georgia and another school (maybe Memphis.)

Add all of this up plus the fact that Edwards is going after them both and tell me something unusual isn’t going on.
