The Lady Bulldogs are following suit losing in the first round. I think it’s time to hang both programs up and start a rowing team or sand volleyball.

Wild, not sure it matters at this point. The team is better but wtf getting destroyed by a mid major with know bball history who got destroyed by Michigan in the next game. Hell, a close loss and I get it but weren't competitive with a team whose athletic budget is a rounding error at UGA.

We beat 3 teams in sweet 16 and 4th team we lost to in OT by 1. That is a promising stat

Bim coming off the bench at the end of the year was kinda the writing on the wall I think. Don't think his attitude was a good fit either.

he was arguably our best player and certainly our best scorer. This just sounds like sour grapes.
As is life in the portal era (and at UGA especially), we should go ahead and mentally accept the fact we're going to lose pretty much everyone of significance on our roster. That sucks, but it doesn't necessarily spell doom.
2 years ago we made the tournament and lost leffew, montgomery, Asa, Ty Lawrence, Demery, and Godfrey. Some of those were absolute studs for us, others were rock solid role players, and others didn't hit their ceiling but still had potential. Yet we brought in enough key pieces ot have an even better season the following year.
Do I think we will be better next year than this? Who knows. I expect to lose pretty much everyone of value including cain, somto, and catchings because I'm sure those guys can get paid handsomely elsewhere. But I'll at least wait and see who we bring in first before calling next season a bust 7 months before it starts.
