Heard that guy ended up having half the bars close anyway. Or was that the restaurant or hotel one? I wanna say one or all of them are shams like all reality tv.

Yeah one of my friends said he went to one for the novelty of it, and the bar was still a total shithole

I'd bet it was Restaurant Impossible with chef Simon. The little follow ups on those are always sales up 15%, 20%, and there's higher overhead.

The Bar Rescue follow-ups are always 25% and up, and there's lower overhead when they are gifted with tap systems and shite that gets you near perfect yield from a keg.


Just based on that, I'd say the restaurants would fail more than the bars would.

Either way, I watch them as entertainment, same as Bugs Bunny or The Unforgiven.

You'd know more than I. And yea, I am with ya on the novelty of it. You can't watch jack on TV these days and take it seriously but if you take it for face value then it isn't half bad.

The restaurant show was just awful.
