Im not liking the chad morris vs grantham matchup as much as id like to admit. morris exploits defenses, its what he does

I do like our chances in a shootout obviously, we have a lot more firepower and outweigh them at QB by a fricking 1000 lbs. But we damn sure better get some stops in there. Hopefully our youth on defense means theyre not puking in the 3rd qtr against those frickers

If you're going to taternet and looking for logical arguments or informed football debate, you're doing it wrong and with false hopes. It's better to treat it like ole' dawgrant and just go in blindly and with as much shite talk as you can deliver and quick wit.

What's worse is once you beat them, they will talk about how they beat themselves and yada yada yada.

The key is not letting Taj get comfortable. That starts with shutting down their run game, and make no mistake, don't believe this bullshite about Watkins moving to wide out, it's a false flag operation. He will be in the backfield on August 31.

Once that is accomplished, and Taj knows the whole game is going to be on his shoulders, you start mindfricking him with NFL types of front formations, you've got enough good linebackers on the roster to make a couple of package deals for some 4-2-5, 2-5 and other weird shite, without expecting any 1 linebacker to have too many responsibilities memorized. The ol' Spider Monkey defense.

We keep our offense pretty bread and butter, unless we get desparate at some point.

We save the offensive mindfricking for Spurrier the next week.

A big fat dose of gurshall with some passing mixed in will be plenty enough to keep them on their heels.

this is eerily similiar to your Boise State thread, swin. Didn't John Jenkins outweigh their center by like 50 pounds?

Just saying.

Not making bold predictions. We all know Clemson has a weak defense and our O is one of, if not the best offense in the nation. Notice I haven't said anything about us pieceing together a half decent defense or even winning for that matter.

Yep, guarded optimism at best. Should be a good game.

Could be the biggest game of the season Swin... Set's the tone, lose this one & the rest of Sept. looks kinda bleak IMO... Maybe we can lose this one & beat SCjr & LSU... but.... Tough row to hoe.

I can guarantee Watkins won't line up in the backfield for the vast majority of the snaps. He's one of the top deep threats at slot receiver in the NCAA. I could see him moving to flanker or split end to open up the play book for him a bit, but no way in frick he moves to RB or slot back.

Brent rode Stoops coattails for years, that's why OU wasn't sad to see him go. Seriously, if you look at OU's Total Defense rankings during the time Stoops was DC, then look at the Venables years there was a huge drop off (except 1 year out of many.) Then he went to clemson and they had one of the worst defenses in the nation this past year, but they've had "solid recruiting" for over decade.

Clemson has recruited athletes at skill positions but totally ignored the trenches on both sides of the ball for half a decade; that's why The Cocks have started to dominate them and it's why UGA should win.
