Kid had every opportunity to get his arse inside the house. The police officer even gave him the opportunity to get inside and avoid arrest. He was in fact breaking the law.

Not defending the policeman's use of force but every man has a limit, we can't ask these policemen to be perfect because human beings aren't perfect.

Dumbass kid resisted arrest and got his arse beat, I see no problem here. Next time, do as the cop asks.

I asked a former LEO about this. He didn't see the video but I described it to him. He said the officer shouldn't be on the street and that he's a menace. He said that the poking of the student in his side was unauthorized baton use. He said that the officer shouldn't have let the kid enter the door to the point that tackling or hands on detainment would be required (it's a major safety hazard to let that happen) but he said that multiple strikes once the subject is down is criminal.

Did he say how the officer was supposed to stop the kid since the kid ignored the officers instructions to stop? Did he say what the officer was supposed to do when the kid pushed the officer when the officer tried to keep hi from entering the door.....or did you mention that?

And therein lies the problem of telling someone what happened instead of them seeing the video. You telling him what happened (or anyone else telling him) would be colored by our own perceptions and prejudices. Therefore he cannot address the situation impartially, because his perception of the events are based on how he was told about the events.....and none of us are totally impartial. We all have a predisposed ideas.

Nobody has argued that point. All we argued is that if the kid had done what he was instructed to do, that none of that would have happened.

ou might actually want to read up on what "the Nazis" did. Deception was a big part of how they got away with everything they did. The end result was brutal, but they weren't all screaming beasts like you see in the movies. They often kept the guise of respectability until right before the end.

Seriously? I was a History Minor. I have a pretty good idea what the Nazis did. And trust me...when they arrested people they used very little deception.

Really? They just put hundreds of thousands of Jews on trains and took them to be experimented on and gassed. Nothing horrific about that. Read up on Josehp Mengeli then get back to me if you think he was a monster. How about Joseph Goebbels.

Take a look at this list...(Hardly academic, but accurate nonetheless) then tell me in which way our Police Officers resemble these people) I find it highly offensive when young people compare police officers to Nazis. It only proves that they have forgotten, or never knew how bad the Nazis were. Take a good long look at some concentration camp photos then get back to me.

Looks like a fat piece of shite pig beating on a college student. He should be fired and sent to jail for assault. If another fat loser did that he would be in jail and because this one has a badge it's ok. Nope, jail time, piggy.

He is under investigation by the GBI and was fired. Satisfied?
