Played a hell of game.
I know he gets a lot of hate but I feel like he is one of the guys who has consistently gotten better each week
I'm rooting for him

Often what a player does will not result in a sack, tackle, or INT. But the QB or OL will have to adjust their play because of it. That's what Jackson and Chambliss accomplish. The DL and DEs make plays because of them.

I know… like most people with 28k post here I understand football moderately well. It was a joke about how we have had a string of great white players recently and them being called gym rats or lunch pale guys a lot in the past

My post wasn't a dig at you, but an appreciation for what some guys do that gets them little recognition.

Chambliss is a prime example of people who don’t take the time to learn football making assumptions. Chambliss’ biggest issue on the Rant has typically been his skin color.

If he was as you describe, would he get so many reps as he does on a Smart coached team? Could it be you saw him miss a few assignments or get beat and then colored him as you described as the norm?
What I have seen is he is a solid contributor and is pretty dang athletic and plays with a really good motor.

Chambliss was exactly what we needed him to be last night. Consistently doing his job and holding his own well enough it sticks out visually often on a defense he’s playing on with like 4-5 nfl locks. He’s been an amazing stalwart for us just like Jackson.

Love his drive, he loses contain alot. Tip of the cap to Bobo for a well called game and Beck for playing like a first round draft pick.
