It's a practice..
You can worry if they're starting in September.

from another board
quote:
Georgia practiced for nearly two hours in full pads on Tuesday. During the brief time the media was allowed to watch drills, the Bulldogs' first-team defense consisted of John Taylor (DL), James DeLoach (DL), Sterling Bailey (DL), Ramik Wilson (ILB), Amarlo Herrera (ILB), Jordan Jenkins (OLB), Leonard Floyd (OLB), Damian Swann (CB), Aaron Davis (CB), Corey Moore (S) and Lucas Redd (S). Defensive linemen Ray Drew and Chris Mayes were both working with the third team). … Brandon Kublanow was back working at left guard today with Greg Pyke manning the position at right guard.

It's just practice. The first game isn't for another 5 months

OK, so Langley, Wiggins, Dawson and Matthews are receiving loud and clear?

What if these kids are just playing better? I don't see the problem.

Exactly. I don't give a frick how many stars a kid has in practice, if someone is playing better, put them in there. I don't see why this is a big problem. Pruitt said there was open competition at every position.

Not to mention that J.J. Green has been hurt, and the incoming recruiting class hasn't even arrived yet.

so two walks ons starting in the secondary means we're gonna be ready for Clemson?
I somehow doubt it but maybe one of them is Rashaad Johnson

If they're playing better than who we've got right now, why not? Has nothing to do how high someone was rated out of high school. It has everything to do with how well someone plays. If these guys are playing better than our 4* guys, then they should start over them. Whoever the coaches feel give us the best chance to win should start.

what would you care to wager that neither are starting or even playing on anything other than specials teams come first game?

Well with all this info you seem to have, why are you asking a forum for help?

If you are willing to bet that neither starts come the first game, why are you bitchin' about them working with the 1's yesterday?

no info here, I got a call from a CU bud of mine asking who Redd and Davis were. I had no idea so I did a search and found that he was right. My reaction to him was that Pruitt was sending a message to them like with Bailey over Drew but that is not as drastic as this. I posted because I wanted to know if the board knew anything more.
