He does not always throw that way but can to change the release point. Most of his blocks can be attributed to lineman not engaging D lineman who were blocking passing lanes and had free hands to get up. The other bitch about him throwing behind a receiver on many occasions were actually him throwing receivers open over the middle in zone defense situations. He has an elite arm and release. Take away the drops and wrong routes and his numbers are much better and we likely win vs Bama.

Going back and watching Stockton's HS career, intermediate and deep passes in the pocket or on the run is what he do......

HS highlights make him look like Joe Burrow with the sideline stop passing game

He changes his release point for throws across the middle, hence the enormous amounts of deflections

Also, why the frick when he tries to throw his deepest ball does his arm get ripped off for a fumble.

Just watched replays of FSU game and the same thing keeps happening to him. He is waiting to get hit before he gets rid of it.

Beck is unfortunately a head case and it was masked last year by McConkey and Bowers making ridiculous plays to save him

Being able to change your release point is like a really good trait. Do you understand what it means?

How would Ladd or Bowers have saved him on that play?

None of this makes much sense.

Is it true that boosters paid Beck 5.1 million last year? And yes, the figures are out. No wonder pencil neck never sat.

I don't know, McConkey and Bowers are dominating in the NFL as rookies. It's hard to ignore that both are generational and one is likely the best of all time at TE

He did more than fine when those two were injured.

Would this topic be talked about if Beck had done what he’s done all year and played lights out in the second half?

I know we’re on the internet and can say whatever we want, feel kinda shitty reading through this topic.

Dude has played his arse off, has he played up to the standard the media and fanbase put on him, NO! But he’s definitely made the throws this team has needed to win. And come Jan 2 if Gunner wets the bed, all of a sudden Beck is a GOD again..

P.S. I hope Gunner balls out, cuz ultimately GO DAWGS!

Balls that touch the hands are considered drops, even off fingertips. Was each one catchable?

Dropped passes

This seems to go against your assertion, and if the number of dropped passes we have is truly around 40, I would say it’s pretty accurate by definition in the link. If we are counting everything that someone got a hand on, the number is probably closer to 70-80.
