Per an interview with Aaron Murray

In the past, Kirby has encouraged players who will be playing their last home game to be honored at Senior night regardless of if they are seniors or not.

Seems like he may be planning to return next year.

Would you support Carson coming back?

I'll go on record and say that anyone who wouldn't is a fricking retard.

Stockton definitely transfers id bet. Auburn would be a perfect fit too.

With that new schedule I don't think we play them next year. Could be wrong though.

True, and there will be mad people when Carson comes back. My comment stands.

It'd be lunacy not to. He's on pace to shatter school records and he'd be a returning senior, why would anyone want to give that up for a backup with no meaningful reps? Sure we'll lose one of Brock/gunner, hell maybe even both. But we have 2 more coming in so I'm not worried about the depth.

Especially with our schedule next year going to Austin and Tuscaloosa, give me the senior.

Good point with the away schedule, gonna be tough... Carson coming back should attract some nice portal WR too...if we see attrition there and need reinforcements

If Carson were to come back for 2024 he would likely be much better than he is already. When Stetson came back he was much better. I hope Carson returns regardless of how this season ends.

Ashamed to admit I was one of those people, not really mad but more of "really? He had nothing left to prove." I won't make that mistake with Beck. Especially with next year's schedule as others have mentioned.

Yes, this year it's been nice to see Beck experiencing some success and looking pretty good doing it.

But the BEST thing about Beck's performance this season? We're set up at QB for several years, now. If he'd faltered, we would have to lean on one of the young guys, inevitably leading to Raiola likely transferring out as a soph due to Gunnar or Brock having remaining eligibility.

Im hoping he comes back, next year's schedule is brutal, and breaking in a new QB again would not be a good thing imo.

Agree.
Beck has been good and will probably be even better next season if he progresses as expected.

Gunner also has stronger connections to Bobo. I could see it being Brock that transfers.

I'd take a natty this year and no Carson beck next year if that is the choice.
