In case yall didn't know, LSU's OC's son's wife died in a plane crash this morning in Louisiana.

Post-game interview with Burrow, dumbass Ari from SEC Network drops it on him.

Cringeworthy.

Can't blame the network. Everyone on the planet knew for hours, but the reporter can't ask LSU's QB about it?

Awkward, maybe, but not the reporter's fault. If I knew it, there is no reason to think Burrow didn't, and no reason to not ask him about it regardless.

Tough situation, but still.

Wrapping up the interview with that is a really bad look. That’s not really the moment to bring something like that up.

Wrong.

"Congrats on the win, you broke peach bowl records, you are heading to the NC game, how do you feel about your coach's dead daughter?"

I'll disagree. It was a huge part of the story all day, since word of the crash broke. It was brought up time and time again - appropriately - all game. It makes sense that it was brought up, along with everything else, after the game to those that played/coached in it.

If you want to get mad, fine, but I think it's misplaced at this point. JMVHO.

I wanna hate Joe Burrow so much, but he's really such a great kid.

It was certainly an expected subject to broach because that's the world we live in now, but I don't agree that it was appropriate. Can we not let people have time to process shite like this before we pepper with them questions about it?

Ohio State let him ride the bench two years and then let him go to LSU so they could have Justin Fields, how LOL is that?

He would not be the same player at Ohio State.

Wow what a buzz kill for Joe. You could clearly tell he was upset about it.

No, Haskins was favored over Burrow. Fields wasn't an option because he was being misused in Athens.
