As the resident LSU Fan. He is drained all the energy out of our fan base.
He is SO disliked in Baton Rouge and was never really accepted by the fan base but everyone was like "Well maybe he can get us back to where we were" but not only has he not done that. The team has regressed in year 3 and its getting worse. The roars for him to be fired are loud.

The ONLY thing saving his tail right now is the recruiting class coming in and Bryce Underwood (And maybe the 60m buyout)

But we have settled into apathy knowing we are stuck with this rube for the foreseeable future.

Its a very sad time to be an LSU fan knowing there is little hope and mostly embarrassment with him as the head coach.

I wonder if beating bama and winning the west in his first season was actually a negative for him. Seems like it could only go downhill from there.

Although that was a nice surprise it still wasnt some magical season.
UGA destroyed them in the SEC championship, he lost to a terrible A&M team at the end of the season that cost LSU a remote chance at bigger things and aside from a generation QB in Daniels last year would have been brutal.
Jayden Daniels won 3-4 games completely by himself.
LSU hasn't won an opening day game since my daughter just finished Middle school. She is a Freshman and Samford University now. That is unacceptable.
The Bama game was the final straw for most. At home, At night, a good but beatable Bama team (who already had 2 losses) to get embarrassed like that is unacceptable. You can lose games its the SEC but LSU is not competitive against above average SEC teams.
Yes they beat USC and Ole Miss this year. Even if they were "lucky to do so"

The "he doesn't fit" mantra is real but most were eager to say "well maybe he can coach"

Now its proven he is a horrible big game coach, he seems he has lost his players and its just a disaster.

Its like the SEC Shorts bit with the person "Hope"
Sadly there is little hope. Recruiting class aside but that is unrealized
Hope - See Texas A&M
Sucks being an LSU fan right now.

On the bright side, it takes a spell of hard times to set people's mind right. It seems counterintuitive, but perpetual prosperity leads to perpetual discontent.

We told you that he was a bad hire. Too bad y’all broke the bank to hire this jerk. Gonna cost a truckload of money to get rid of your dancing queen.
Rivals are gonna use this video against y’all in recruiting. Not many top players will want to play for a man who speaks to a player in this way.
Criticism is normal from a coach but this was demeaning

Not sure why this would be considered bad coaching? Because he cussed at him? I think noticing dude jumps on damn near every ball is actually pretty good coaching.

It's rare that I agree with mmmmmbeer but in this case I do. Yelling at players on the sideline after they do stupid bullshite is completely normal. I don't get the outrage. If LSU wins this game, they talk about what a hard nosed good coach they have. But he loses, and they think he's being too hard nosed.

The way in which he did it.
Saban jumped in asses
Kirby jumps in asses too.
But not like that.

Saban and Kirby have lost their minds on guys and looked way worse to me than the Brian Kelly exchange. The difference is Saban and Kirby have gotten to the promise land and are universally recognized as good, hard arse coaches while Brian Kelly just isn’t likable and just a smug dude.

Damn now I'm also agreeing with ugastreaker.

I have a Dr's appt first week of Dec, I'll ask him about this.

For the record NO one is upset he jumped into a player like that. I have seen top coaches like Saban and Kirby almost have an aneurism yelling at a player like that.
Also apparently Top players do want to play at LSU based on their current recruiting class.

No we dont like him because the team is unprepared every opening day. Looks unprepared and undisciplined almost every game. Fails in midgame adjustments on every level. He tells us "we need to coach better" every time they lose.
he oversaw what I think is the most embarrassing loss in Tiger Stadium in decades against Bama this year.

He said judge him on year 3. Its year 3 and this is a below average SEC team on a path for 7-5 and little hope...

crazy, LSU, Auburn, FSU, and Kentucky may all have new coaches after this year. I wonder if Deion would consider the first 3? I don't think he wants any part of the SEC. Never been a big Kelly fan.

Yea, I don't think the issue is Kelly getting onto one of his players, it's the fact that one of your players were getting down on Kelly.
I think problem is this:
1. Kelly is not having the expected success given his huge salary.
2. Kelly doesn't see to a good cultural fit with LSU.

Prime is going to the NFL. Probably the Cowboys.
