I personally wish they’d scrap the black forever. Bama never uses gimmick unis and I don’t think UGA should either.

It's one of our primary colors, FFS. One bad game 11 years ago and folks are acting like a bunch of sandy vaginas, to this day.

Unreal.

I would be alright if we blacked out Florida, and they wore orange. Being Halloween weekend and all.

I say we do a throwback uniform at some point to our silver helmets, solid red jerseys, solid silver pants, but use distressed chrome and an old English g for the helmets.

Recruiting bonanza.

Yes, because that is why we are still talking about black jerseys in 2019....

I'm not against it because of one bad game, crotch stain. I'm against it because it's pussified to try and use a change in uniform colors to better your chances of winning a football game.

I don't give a shite if you wear pink in the stands. The football players should wear the colors they've always worn, so that our opponent is not made to look like some special deal.

Since the players want to wear them I think we should. Only if we rotated the Black Uniforms into our line up more than once a year though. That way it would not make anyone think we are doing it as a special deal, it will help in recruiting, and make players happy. Just having the jerseys around for recruits to take pictures in make them seem Gimmicky to me. It has been over 10 years since they have seen the light of day.

Fans in black players in red. That’s the only way a blackout should be done.

The players want them so why not also it isn't a way to increase our chances of winning it's something that's very popular with players and fans. Yall tradionlists need to chill

The kickoff is rather late, but I think with just enough food and water I can make it to kickoff without blacking out. No guarantees on during or after the game.

can you provide one single instance of anyone suggesting the black jerseys would help us win the game?

People want them so bad becuase they look good as shite, probably the sharpest uni we've ever worn tbh, and the recruits drool over them. It has nothing to do with the game and everythign to do with recruiting and atmosphere.

Why don’t we do like Tennessee and checkerboard the stadium. Or like Miami and give out rings for TDs.

The blackout shite is embarrassing to the UGA football program.

bunch of superstitious momotards on here.

Color of the jersey doesn't effect outcome of the game.

Black jerseys are popular and look sharp.

Absolutely should be worn once a season.

How does the sun's radiation affect a black jersey when the game is at 8 p.m.?
