3-3.

MSU and UF looked completely inept.

LSU's showed how mediocre their offense is.

South Carolina needed a miracle to beat an impotent Michigan team.

Georgia and Vanderbilt were the only impressive looking SEC teams to show up in the bowl games.

UF got bitch slapped...they looked beyond bad. Of course, UL is no joke...that QB was outstanding...we prob would have lost too...or had a shoot out

You do realize that in most of these bowls it's not a great matchup for us. Usually something like the #5 SEC vs the #2 BIG10/Pac10/Big12

The thread through all 3 losses was inept offense. SEC is for the most part a defense first conference but some of these teams are finding out the hard way that offense is equally important. One thing I will say about UGA is that we have decent balance between offense and defense although our defense sure looked lost during much of the bowl game.

According to most here that shouldn't be a problem.

Bridgewater used last night as his national coming out party. Anyone who hasn't seen Louisville play this year had to be wondering who the hell that QB was. He came off the bench at Rutgers in 25ish degree weather with a broken wrist and sprained ankle and led them to a comeback win to clinch the conference title. Louisville winning was a surprise, but Bridgewater being awesome wasn't.

LSU's biggest problem was that Clemson ran 105 PLAYS! That's absolutely absurd.

Georgia has been the best bowl team in SEC so far.

I don't think this speaks to talent as much as motivation. The problem with being the best conference is that everyone is looking to knock us off every game. I'm not saying that this is a good excuse, but the other teams play like they have nothing to lose when they play us. They are expected to lose, so their "heart" performance is significantly higher than ours.

Seeing FU upset was bitter sweet. I always love to watch them go down (especially when one of their players is crying on the sideline) but during the bowl games, the rest of the country doesn't care about our rivalries. They are judging the SEC as a whole by what they see in these games. When an SEC school gets embarrassed by a Big East team, the SEC's image suffers for it.

With that said, Louisville had absolutely nothing to lose in this game. They were playing the #3 team in the country and were expected to be whooped like a redheaded step child. They came out and played (for the most part) like world beaters, and Florida's offense couldn't overcome the hole they dug themselves into. FU's fan turnout (or lack thereof) was evidence of how they felt about that game going into it.

I'm just glad that UGA, USCe, and Vandy did their jobs.

One mediocre year and you throw the SEC underneath the bus.

And it is usually not. Every 100 years the SEC has a mediocre Bowl Season.

I've said it for years and will continue to say it.

"frick THE SEC"

Do I want to jump on the tSEC wagon and ride? Sure... The fricking teams fans outside this conference are HORRID and it makes me want to jump on this thing they call "conference homerism", but watching games like the one last night keep me level headed.

frick THE FLORIDA GATORS AND frick THE REST OF THE SEC.

Hunker Down, Dawgs! GATA!!

Good thing I don't give a rats arse about the SEC. The team I pull for won their bowl game, so I'm happy.

Right on track to go 6-3...not medicore at all. Big 10 craps
out as usual,Pac 10 and Big 12 @ .500. I know all the SEC bashers were licking their chops after UFAG tanked but I think the SEC is gonna finish just about right were I thought it would. Bama will dominate Mon. Nt BTW.

frick the SEC. Whoever pulls for a confrence is a complete idiot. Do the yankees or redsocks pull for one another when they play in the world series. The answer is NO! frick FU, i'm glad they lost (won 1500 on that game). I also piciked ND. I just don't see bammer doing shite on that salty D-Line from ND. Thank god it's bammer ending the streak for the almighty SEC and not UGA!

Hey GFY! All I heard across talk radio and ESPN after the UFAG beatdown was how completely OVERRATED the SEC was and clearly that's not the case. So you'd be happier if the Big 10,Pac 12 or Big 12 has won the last 6 MNC's? You really think the level of FB in the conference would be the same if ALL the SEC teams except UGA lost their bowl games EVERY yr? Ya think it would affect preseason rankings if the SEC (except GA)loses EVERY bowl game? How do you think it would effect recruiting if the SEC craps out every yr in bowls?

What's your fricking point? We'd be better off w/out good recruiting classes?

You want CMR fired? You want Bobo fired? We should bench Murray?
