Hat tip to VADawg for the topic idea. Below is a list of some of the better teams that we beat in the last 15 seasons. Who would yall give the nod to?

2001 Tennessee
Went 11-2 and finished ranked 8th. Was one half of football away from playing for the national title. Finished season ranked 4th.

2005 LSU
Went 11-2 and were 3rd going into the SECCG. Ended the season with a 37 point shellacking of miami for a #5 final ranking.

2006 Auburn
Went 11-2 and got up to #2 during the season. Ranked 5th at time of game and would finish the season 8th.

2012 Florida
Undefeated and ranked 2nd at game time. Team was 11-1 and ranked 4th going into bowl season but surprisingly lost to louisville to finish 11-2 and ranked 9th

02 bama, 03 tennessee, 04 LSU, 09 tech, 14 Clemson, and I'm sure a handful of others would make the honorable mention list. For the "final" list I tried to stick to teams that finished with less than 3 losses and ended in the top 10. I think those 4 above are a notch above the rest.

Tennessee in 2001, and it isn't even close in my opinion. That team was good enough to play for the national title.

2005 LSU was a solid team and was impressive in the Peach Bowl, but they were frankly kind of lucky to win 10 in the regular season.

I think the fact that we dominated Auburn as badly as we did (with a 6-4 team) should eliminate them from the argument.

Tennessee in 2001

Was my pick as well. That team was absolutely loaded on both sides of the ball and was dominant for much of the season. Beating that 2001 UF team in Gainesville was special. They were probably the second best team in America that season behind Miami. They were loaded at WR, Travis Stephens was a great RB, Jason Witten at TE, and their DL looked like an all pro lineup. Casey Clausen was a headcase, but a talented one.

Some weird shite has happened in the DSOR over the years. That was one of the weirdest.

Very true. It was better than most of those UT teams that dominated us in the 90s.

It was definitely one of those games I don't think anyone saw coming. Not saying that Auburn was complete fool's gold - 01 UT and even LSU in 05 had a clear edge in talent and QB play.

Was '12 Florida the highest ranked team we beat under Richt? I remember thinking after that game watching SportsCenter 'dang I can't remember us beating somebody ranked #2 or 1'

Exhibit A why Fulmer should have got canned. As talented a team in SECE history or at least tied with '08 UFAG.

Had no business losing to LSU in the SECCG

While not the best,USCe '13 ended ranked up #4.
Should have won the East instead of Mizzou.

Vandy in '13 ended being a top 25 team (you're welcome!)
And it also didn't hurt Franlin's resume.

The other loss in '06 was to a pretty bad team.

Who the frick cares if they were ranked or not? ( they were, btw)

I still don't even consider it a bad loss due to all of the bullshite we went through in that game, from all of our best players being injured to the game-changing targeting calls.

Do you find any enjoyment out of being a Georgia football fan?

Coaches AND AP dumbass. The "your welcome" comment meant the only reason they finsished ranked was because of the bullshite victory over us and it helped Franklin in his post Vandy career...figured you could at least figure that much out.
