Why in the fourth quarter did the PA play Sweat Home Alabama Sat?

They did the same thing for Bama coming out of halftime at Natty there.

I don’t recall any equivalent actions for UGA. It’s stupid but pissed me off both times.

This and them refusing to play replay in the stadium of anything questionable. It reduces the experience. You have to text somebody at home and ask wtf happened.

Plus, they ran out of M&Ms before the game and didn’t serve beer.

Tear that overpriced convertible down and start over.

they were the home team. Every other year in Jax the PA and graphics are heavily UF-centric as well.

also the home team

what would tearing it down have to do with the replay people or the M&M concession order ?

The benz is one of the best venues around to catch a game especially on the wallet. In that regard it's unmatched. But I do agree that a lot of what was shown on the screen was dumb or unhelpful. But I put that on some intern working the board rather than the venue itself

Well, Alabama was the designated "home team".

They were the home team. Last year when we were the home team they did Baba O’reilly before kickoff

There shouldn’t be a “home” team in the SEC Championship other than side of field you sit.

Because it's an odd numbered year and we were wearing white.

The BS was losing to Bama again in the SECCG. That's the last thing Kirby needs to conquer - beating Bama and Saban in that game. The only time Saban lost that game was 2008 to Tebow.

Very strange and they replayed a few close calls but were very selective.Same thing happened in the OSU game last year.

They did Baba O’Reilly this year also. There were at least 50% Bama fans there Saturday. During TV timeouts it was 80% Bama fans crowd shots on the big screen. It really was weird and felt like they had hired the Bama Media team to run the in-stadium production.

just because the camera man did whatever doesn't mean bama had the same number of fans as us. And 90% of those 80% crowd shots you mentioned were the same fricking kid

It’s really an awful venue inside and out. Unsurprising of course. This building was built by the same organization that fields the garbage team you see on the field each week.

The only the thing that the Falcons organization is great at is fleecing the public for the money to build their abomination. It must be humiliating for them whenever they see what the Braves have done at The Battery.

The Falcons consistently avoid UGA players. They clearly have some kind of deep seated organizational hatred for UGA. Why support that? Why defend it?

Neither one of those has to do with the venue...

cheapest concessions in all of sports, public transportation that costs $5 round trip and drops you off right at the entry gates, wide concourses and plenty of amenities inside.

Not sure what your standards are but as a place to watch a game it's anything but awful.

They did Baba O'riley this year before the game too.

The halo board camera found some stupid 4 y/o Bama kid and kept focusing on him then would cut away for a few seconds, then right back and everyone would cheer. Went on for much of the end of the game. Wanna say it started near the end of the 3rd qtr to the end of the game. shite was cute at first then it was just obnoxious. The camera man was definity working to pump up the Bama fans. It was really strange and I've never seen anything like it.

It also likely had zero impact on the outcome but shite was annoying as hell.

It was to distract us from the fleecing we were getting by the game officials....

Why did the refs lead Bama out of the tunnel? Is that normal?

The number one thing that’s wrong with the falcons stadium is the sound system. It freaking suxs. Unless they have fixed it in the last couple of years

I didn’t buy enough concrete to warrant being given a ticket this year I guess.

LOL. We barely got any. I think 8 total when we usually get about 60 if Bama doesn’t make the game. That’s the bad thing when Bama gets in the game. All the tickets go to Bama alum and fans. The set I got for myself and wife were in a sea of Crimson. It wasn’t a fun experience.

If you’re the same guy I hung out with at the 2019 game I thought you had a different screen name on here.
