He doesn't. If he bought what he was selling, he would've pushed back against Warren Brinson putting the mic in his face on the sidelines after the NCG, forcing him to admit that UGA is the king of CFB again.

Yeah, Kincade was his name. I don't know how Buck put up with him as long as he did.

Supposedly, Kincade is genuinely a great person off the air. Whenever there's anything Atlanta vs Philadelphia related, several of the shows on that station will have him on leading up to the game.

Read this today in an article discussing SBIV’s NFL plans and thought it was funny — “Bennett, who is reportedly expected to get his bachelor’s degree this spring … “

UPDATE #2:  Anyone who still has their panties in a wad over Stetson’s speech at the celebration ceremony should read this:

And he says took a few days to look back at his Georgia career which gave him a new appreciation about that journey and the sometimes topsy-turvy relationship with the fans. He went from walk-on in 2017 to junior college transfer to returning on scholarship to eventually winning the starting job for good in 2021.

He likened the 65-7 thrashing of TCU in the national championship game on Jan. 9 in Inglewood, Calif., as something like “The Last Waltz,” a 1976 farewell concert by The Band.

“I hope everybody can remember what it was like on that ride because it was nuts, it was nuts,” Bennett said Monday on a Zoom after he was named Manning Award winner for nation’s top quarterback. “Them hating me. Me hating them. Us falling in love together, coming back, playing football. It was special. I wouldn’t change a single thing. I don’t think I’d be here without it being that way. I hope that everybody who was there and everybody who was with me and everybody that I was with, just knows I appreciate the heck out of it. Everything.”

I can attest to this.

I met John on numerous occasions over the last 2 decades(before he went back home to Philly)at remotes and he was always great and engaging. And he had a good, firm handshake and looked you in the eye. And he always answered email granted you didn't get personal.

Also the things that he has done for cancer research is almost w/o peer. He is a two-time cancer survivor himself and he has put a lot into raising money to find a cure.

He's a good man. It sucks he ain't here anymore as I thought he was the best talent in the market but he had a chance to go back home and he took it. Can't blame him. (David Dickey kinda did him dirty)
