Will not be playing in bowl game. Declared academically ineligible. Guess the rumors about his grades failing and him going to draft are true.

Very strange that he's academically ineligible in his 4th year of college with
EE and multiple summer schools.Im assuming
he didn't pass enough hours and maybe dropped a course especially if he plans on returning.

Maybe he's been spending too much effort on the girlfriend and not enough in the weight room and on school work. I realize he's been injured quite a bit, but he hasn't been as good as his freshman year.

I could be wrong, but I believe you can lose academic eligibility due to one bad quarter/semester, even if you've done fine up to that point. Most likely he'll have no problem finishing his graduation requirements this spring/summer.
