I think most UGA fans are upset with how Carson left us for money and pussy. Not that they wouldn't do the same.
Beck was not the issue with UGA last year. We didn't have any receivers and our defense sucked. We could have had Bennett come back and wouldn't have won anything.
Even with beck I think we don't we win the natty this year...just didn't have the team.

I disagree, I think Becks inconsistency created a confidence problem in the Wrs. Many of the same guys caught everything this season.

You may or may not have some recency bias going on. 2024 Beck was an interception machine and was no threat in the running game. The offense also felt so much more calm and less schizo this season with Gunner out there. Gunner was also money in 3 of our 4 biggest conference games – Tennesseee, Ole Miss and Texas.
33 touchdowns and 5 interceptions is pretty legendary. Played bad against Tech and looked screwy against Ole Miss, but aside from that Gunner was pretty damn steady.

Stockton is a different QB and more suited to Kirby’s style.
