Chris Kirk of UGA on fire today, baby.

Currently 8 under thru 14 holes to go from barely making cut yesterday to one stoke off the lead.

Other Notables:
Kisner -5
40 year old Bubba Watson -4

I’m lovin this new schedule.

GSBGM-types would of probably bitched and whined about messing with the schedule and moving TPC and the PGA championship up, but it’s really ramped up the intensity so far.

The field at Bayhill has always been strong, but some of these players wouldn’t be here if the Players Championship wasn’t next week.

Played at Coco Beach in Puerto Rico recently. Would recommend. Was a welcomed escape from Yankee winters.

Kirk choked. He was 8 under for the day standing on #18 tee, then proceeded to double-bogey. Still a great round though obviously.

Ill never be 8 under with one hole to go, but if i ever was, thats how id probably finish.

Anddd Kisner rolls in about a 30 footer for birdie....and a share of the lead.

It’s on, baby

Kirk double-bogey on 18 looking worse and worse by the minute. He’d be leading if he’d just made par.

Some 13 year old squeaker dwarf from England named Fitzgerald stole lead, but plenty of non-bots and GApipeliners within striking distance.

Should be a fun finish tomorrow

Fitzpatrick is so good.

I’m good with the new schedule as well, as long as they don’t try to turn the players into a major.

I've been +4 with 3 holes to finish ( never broke 80) and proceed to shoot +7 on next 3. Probably have had 10 rounds the past year where I've shite the bed on last 2-3 holes to keep me from breaking 80. Quite frustrating

It's crazy how mental golf is like that. The first time you're trying to shoot a certain score is always so tough on the final few holes, even for the best players in the world.

Yea it's a total mind frick, that's what's infuriating about it. Knowing the only thing keeping me from playing better is between my ears.

The worst thing you can do is check the scorecard and think “hey...if I par the last two holes I’ll .........”.

Doesn’t matter if it’s break 100, 90, 80 or whatever.

Yeah I started letting my buddy's keep score but it never fails. Get around #14-15 and start adding it up in my head.

So true.

You can see the mind frick and how it affects even Tiger Woods.

Yep I don’t think I’ve ever broken 100 playing 100% by the rules. Was at like 86 facing a par 3 and 5 and fricked it up

I missed a 4 foot putt on 18 a couple years ago that would have been my best score ever because someone told me where I was at as we walked to the green. I was a little bitter to say the least

All UGA group at 1:25est as Kisner and Kirk tee off 2 and 3 back, respectively.

Imagine that pairing....reminiscing on the 2005 National Championship they won together. Bet they have a blast out there and probably play less stressed being that pairing.

Go Dawgs!!

I might be wrong, but I’m pretty sure they played together in the final pairing in the Players on Sunday in 2015. The year Kiz lost in the playoff to Fowler.
