Very nice. Looks like the offense was humming in second half.
Only one loss at home this year. Keep momentum and get a quad 1 win on Saturday.

We are 16-7 and our final 5 SEC games are against ranked SEC teams. I have been around a while and I can assure you we never played 5 ranked SEC teams in a row to end the regular season . If we can win 2 of 5 and 1 or 2 in tourney it would be a heck of a season given who we have faced.

If we can win 1 more regular season and 1 or 2 in the SECT, we should be dancing with our resume. They will be putting it blind next to those ACC teams and we will own the blind resume test
Arkansas loss is looking better and better. St Johns just beat Marquette, so will help our win (and not really hurt the loss)

Blue Cain with an almost triple double
Obviously didn't watch, but folks on Twitter said they ran the offense through Cain a decent bit and it worked well. Maybe a lineup shake up will help our offense against the tougher teams.

I think the way they handled him in the 2nd half was much better than all season and I was actually pleased with him. Demry was like a mexican in a new neighborhood build out.

The first half was so frustrating because it felt like one of those games we're used to where a team will either do or not do [something] all year and then the complete opposite will happen against us. LSU came in as the worst 3PT team in the league and they went NBA Jam on us. It was maddening.
To our credit we withstood it then flexed our muscle in the second half when their outside shot cooled off. They wanted absolutely nothing to do with us in the paint. To have a team hit 9 3s on you in the first half and it be a 3 (I think) point game with like 16 minutes left, then win by 20...that's good.

Looking back at the Alabama game a little closer, there seems to be more positives than one my get just by glancing at the box-score. It was a positive to turn them over as much as we did. It was a positive that we took care of the ball for the most part and didn't look retarded on offense (couldn't make a shot though). It was a positive that we outpaced them in shooting too. You look at it from the outside and put it all together in front of a home crowd like last night, we look similar to the UGA team prior to SEC play. If UGA can somehow beat MSU, their confidence will grow, and we might can steal a couple down the stretch. This team hasn't quit, and I'll gladly endorse that.

This Saturrday's game is huge. Let's assume the "should happen" results actaully happen and we lose to aTm/AU/Tx on the road and UF at home, but beat SC on the road. That leaves Vandy, Missouri, and MSSt left as big swing games all 3 of which are at home. Going 2-1 aginast those 3 teams would be incredible for us.

Yes. We must win Saturday vs MSU to move up in the projected field. We kind of need to avoid the play in game if at all possible. Here's the upcoming schedule:
MSU at home. I like our chances but need to continue to put up points because they sure as frick can when they get going.
Loss @ A&M although they have been kinda just getting by and they struggle to score at times too. If we can generate ANY offense, this might can steal this one.
Mizzou at home feels like a 50/50 now. They've been playing really well but I think we can win at home.
Loss @ AU... probably ugly.
Florida in Athens is more 70/30 Gayturds but we're due to beat these bastards. They tend to suck arse on the road too.
I think we can win in Austin. Just like football. Not impressed with Texas at all. That being said, they probably look like world beaters against us.
SC in Columbia is also another one that is more house of demons than anything. We're better than them this year but you never know. I lean SC in this until proven otherwise.
Vandy in Athens could be a huge game for seeding in the SECT and NCAAT as we could have the same or damn near the same conference record. This will be a little reunion for Lawerence, and we should win at home.
If we can win down the stretch, we should be in good shape. The schedule is doable IMO. We just gotta shake these road jitters.

We beat USC at USC and Vandy at home, plus 1 in SECT and we are dancing
Saturday should be fun and could get us around a loss at USC. I think we can compete in any game left outside at TAMU and Auburn.
I’m keeping the faith we will be dancing come March. Go Dawgs

I don't think people realize St. John's has only lost once since we beat them. They're 20-3 and ranked #12.

They just beat UCONN too.
Doubt we get them if we played again right now, but what a win lol
Let's get this one today and get some momentum going our way

St Johns is now our biggest win and on a neutral court....We also have a nice win over Kentucky.
Our losses at Home:
#1 Auburn by 2 points with a Newell rimout at the buzzer to tie (Broome was out but who needs to know that...)
Our losses away from Home:
#11 Marquette on a neutral court
#15 Ole Miss
#3 Alabama
#4 Tennessee
#5 Florida
and a now Hot Arkansas team that we led by 15
That is really not a bad resume of losses. If you read the posts ITT, you would think we were 12-11 and bubble for NIT

Fair. Would just like to be more competitive in those losses. Our offense is just a pain to watch too. Maybe they have turned a corner.
But you're right. That resume is pretty strong.

#11 Marquette - 11 point loss
#15 Ole Miss - 12 point loss
#3 Alabama - 21 point loss
#4 Tennessee - 18 point loss
#5 Florida - 30 point loss
Arkansas - 3 point loss but felt like double digits considering our lead
It’s hard to sugarcoat getting destroyed on the road.

playing on the road in this league is just flat out brutal. A LOT of great defenses in the league and they get home court shooting. Just stick with these guys and see what we can do

Happens in this league.
Florida lost by 20, Arkansas by 14 and MS ST by 12 @UT
We can do this all day, even teams better than us lose by double digits on the road in this league. No need to sugarcoat anything

Here a little early tonight. Students are here and rowdy early. Looks like we’re running sets through Blue and Silas during warmups. Asa is practicing a good bit from 3. We might be switching stuff up tonight. We’ll see. Go Dawgs!
