They have been, and will be, so long as Saban is there.

Every top 10 team will be a problem if the team isn't ready. Oregon looks dominant, Michigan looks dominant, Washington looks dominant...........

Yeah I honestly don't get why some people said that they'd rather face Bama over LSU.

Bama is the epitome of my variation on the old saying:
It's not so much the X's and the O's but the Jimmy's and the Joe's.
Bama has been recruiting at the highest level since Saban has been there and they will always have a great team as long as they recruit at that level.

It will come down to Kirby and his coaches. We lost a ton of talent the last two years. At this point, it is coaching that gets us through until all the young talent develops.

Against this common opponent, we're looking very similar, but Bama's defense is worse than ours. I still think we match up well against them.

That Mirloe guy is coming around and bama has dudes on defense. It will be a absolute war in Atlanta

Milroe has improved a lot and is dangerous with his legs, but he is a HUGE step down from that they have been running out there at QB. Their running backs are okay, WR okay but nothing like what they used to have. I think we match up well with them.

quote:

Not that it's a clear 1:1, but at this time in the game, we were beating Kentucky 44-13 at Kentucky. Bama is beating them 35-14 at home.

If I'm reading that right, I think you have it backwards. We played Kentucky in Athens and Bama is playing them in Lexington.

Yes, I'm wrong about that. Had too much going on at once and got that wrong.

They were always going to be a problem. Anyone expecting to just show up and win in Atlanta was always due for a rude awakening.

Psst: Ole Miss is a potential problem as well.

I don't think we match up well against them. Milroe will probably run all over us.

Milroe is bigger and faster than dart but can't make the throws so we will see...

We show up, we win. We are better, there isn’t a single team on their schedule with any kind of defense, even Texas wasn’t great. We win by playing our style offense and controlling Milroe.
