Baba O’Riley doesn’t really make sense as a pregame hype song but it’s what i’m used to so i love it.
Playing “Power” when we turn on the lights ij the 4th quarter was a great choice

It sounds good and pumps up the crowd, but I wonder who came up with the idea. It's a song by an English rock band about Townsends recollection of the wasteland that occurred at rock festivals in the late 60s. At this point it's almost tradition though.

This is the correct answer. It doesn't make sense, but it's a cultural touchstone for the program now.
