So since he was arrested, he must be guilty of something, right?

Kind of unrelated, but does anyone remember what Cutter's Pub was back around 2000? I can't remember what bar used to be there.

I think it's been there since the early 90s.

Battery and aggravated assault

Captain Obvious here but the point of concealed carry is that you don’t know it's on her person. If a woman starts hitting me I'm not going to pick that moment to figure out if she has a weapon, I'm decking her arse before it gets to that point.
It doesn't matter who is in the right, if somebody stabs/shoots you there will be permanent scarring & damage. Call me a pussy, I'll live lol

About the level of a response I'd expect from you

There's also no reason for a woman to be cursing and shoving a man.
They were kicking him out of the bar for being a piece of shite and he refused to leave how else are you getting him to leave?
Also comparing a 23 year old college girl lightly pushing someone to bashing someone's face with a glass mug is fricking weak shite
Good to know all these badass alphas in here think they should beat a maybe 110 poun girl's face in because she pushed a dude dressed as a NAZI

That's the first full clip I've seen of the video. This guy was in no way being assaulted. Some people were trying to call this self defense. I would imagine if he has a good attorney he could plea bargain down to misdemeanor battery, but based on the video it looks like battery.

And you TOO should catch a battery and aggravated assault charge.
Women weren't anatomically designed to be punched by men.
I can't imagine going through life being physically afraid of women. That would just be bizarre.

You can't hit someone with a beer mug or blunt object like that if they are just pulling on your clothes. I think the courts would say he had to be under a severe threat and that's not really what I see from watching the video. I was surprised I saw some Youtube video and everyone was saying he it was self defense.

But what led up to the conflict? 3 people are around him, berating him, pushing (assaulting) him. And then a 4th person (who happens to be a female [who probably can't tell you what a female is]) jumps on him. It's a perfectly instinctual reaction to that situation.
"Aggravated assault" in GA is to be reserved for especially egregious assault, for example if he snuck up behind her and cold cocked her with the glass, knocking her out, then kicking her on the ground.
The charge is dumb.

Any dude who seriiously fears for his safety when a drunk woman is pushing them and grabbing them is a raging pansy.
The world has gone soft. Gender roles have been blurred. Men now think that it's okay to deck a woman for acting nutty.

Man, woman, they/them whatever should not be shocked if they get their face smashed when they confront a dude with the low IQ and/or nuts to wear a full on SS uniform downtown
It’s the shock she has that she got hit, that disgusts me most by the whole situation. Where is this entitlement and false bravado coming from ?

What I saw in that video appeared to be several people assaulting a guy simply because they didn't like his halloween costume. They found his costume so offensive that it gave them license to follow him out into the street, scream obscenities in his face, shove him, hit him. Even then, the "edgelord" seemed to be taking it in stride, laughing at the absurd response as it continued to escalate. It looked like he finally retaliated because he got fed up with being pushed and shoved by a mob, or maybe because one of them hit him hard enough to cause pain and trigger a normal human reaction of self-defense.
Maybe there was more to the story? Did the laughing Nazi actually do something to warrant being kicked out of the bar and assaulted by a self-righteous mob? Did he commit some unwritten but quite serious violation of the Halloween costume dress code? Have the prosecutors announced that he is an actual Nazi (am I allowed to say that word), or Nazi sympathizer? If so, I guess mob justice was appropriate, maybe Athens should charge him with war crimes too. I hate to think how the witches and devils walking the streets of Athens fare tonight (it is technically still in the Bible belt). And heaven forbid, any young edgelords wearing a Richard Nixon mask. Not that I would simp for people like that; I'm a firm believer that the mob is always right.

That’s a great point.
You see somebody wearing that shite out and you need to realize they’re not playing with a full deck.
Times are different. Back in my day in Athens I’d have looked over my shoulder and saw that guy and thought “Got damn dude” and then went about my business.
