If you know anything about Colorado, you would know Texas Tourist alone prop up Colorado's dispenceries supplemented by massive weed tourism in and out of denver airport. Trinidad, CO is loaded with dispencaries to catch them as they cross the line.

Locals really dont care, its not that hard to understand... Yet here you are.

Back in my youth we knew the safe dealers with good product in Athens, and later in Atlanta after graduation. Even in high school in Alabama, we knew the local moonshiner that made safe backyard alcohol.

Well, I've argued with data and facts. You've brought feelings and stories from your friends who can't afford $3 in tax.

I'll just go ahead and end my posts ITT here. Despite us quite literally agreeing on 99% of what's been posted, you still insist on being a dick. But I didn't expect much from you to begin with.

You brought fake news and i brought actual local knowledge. I will go with the local citizens take over yours.

There are dozens of acticles and documentaries that point out what i am telling you.

Once it becomes federally legal and all states follow, the tax base will not be as big as people think. The novelty will be gone and people will go about it as they always have.

You can spout this stupid shite all you want but the vast majority of weed sold in CO or WA is legal. Sure there is some being sold on the black market but it's not even close to the majority.

Saying those states are going back to he black market is asinine and false.

If it were legalized nationally, how bad would that hurt the CO dispensaries? Because right now, a very very large amount (I don't know the number, I don't know if the number is knowable) are from out of staters. If those people didn't have to go to CO to get it, how bad would that hurt CO weed market? I bet it would be pretty painful. And I bet the tax revenue from it would suffer substantially for the state. And I bet the state would answer by jacking up the tax. And I bet the amount of black market weed would climb higher and higher than whatever it already is.

At this point, none of these numbers are known or knowable. Why the three of you are calling each other names and taking such obnoxious postures against each other is bewildering to an intelligent observer like myself. One thing to note- the two commies are on one side and the non-commie is on the other. Guess who I'm going to side with?

Because I have no tolerance for stupid people.

Also the fact that you called me a commie shows you're a moron.

It's Friday afternoon. Order a pizza and drink some beer. Take a toke on the porch. Settle down.

After someone types the words “I have no tolerance for stupid people “ into a sports message board of all places on the sewer of retards that is the internet…. a spring-loaded boxing glove should automatically pop out of the screen and punch that person in the nose the second they hit ‘submit’.

Talk about zero self awareness and weak effort. Sheesh

Deeprig, you get it. Its happening now on a smaller/moderate scale in some states but California has already jumped back to the black market heavily. The others are propped up with tourism. The truth is, people have product they like or grow and dont need the massive taxation and overhead of the dispensary market. I am amazed people are so naive to argue. Colorado is tryi g to crackdown on black market but time is always on the blackmarkets side.....

Funny having to argue with people who have likely spent little if any time in these states versus someone who spends months a year in them.

I gladly paid taxes for $120 ounces in Denver. Black market drugs aren't tested for mold and pesticides.

I have two family members who spent years going out to Humbolt CA every summer for a month or two, whenever harvest time was, and their job was trimming. Not even working in the fields, or harvesting, or farming or anything. They sat at tables all day getting carpel tunnel syndrome just trimming the buds. They'd come back home with $10k for a month or two of work. This was after it was legalized. This was not a sanctioned farm. It was all black market, after CA legalization. I can spill more details but I don't want to get anyone in trouble. By the way, both of these individuals have "real" jobs now. They aren't in the game anymore. So they talk more about it than they used to.

Summary- the few people I know who have been in the business in CA tell stories consistent with what lewis and herschel is telling about CO.

Does weed give you panic attacks or make you feel like you aren't in control?

I remember the first time I smoked some high quality weed. It went really well with Steely Dan.

I remember being so baked once that I was almost having a panic attack and feelin like I’d lost control. Then a super cool music band played a combination of chords, beats, and rhythms and I knew I’d be okay. I dropped to my knees then and there and thanked Jah.

Eh, the pot from my generation was pretty benign. Folks started coming up with the boutique stuff and it certainly fricked you up if you were not expecting it. I haven’t done it in a log time. Makes me sleepy.

Phish is a better band than Steely Dan.
