I have high hopes for baseball this year. They’ve got some talent and experience. Doesn’t mean Stricklin won’t mismanage the shite out of it but maybe a blind squirrel finds a nut and all that

At the time I supported a change and was pretty excited about stricklin, I thought he was gonna recruit lights out and get us back to prominence. Holy hell was that wrong.

After making a regional in '11, perno went 31-26, then had a losing season and was canned. Stricklin in 3 years has done nothing BUT post losing seasons, never made the postseason, and has seen several other SEC teams completely lap us. It's getting to the point where you kinda know what you have. I think it is a MINIMUM requirement to make a regional this year or he should hit the road.

Yea, he has missed the SEC tournament once, and was the 10 seed then the 12 seed the last 2 years, each losing the first game and an immediate trip home.

I was really excited about the hire too and not just as a UGA fan biased, but he had a great looking track record...But he has royally shite the bed.

Still a cheap 3-4 hr. event... Just go in with no expectations and enjoy some baseball

There’s lot to like about the individual players on the team. Big question as usual is if pitching has progressed. We should actually have a decent staff but with a new coach who really knows. Bats should be as good as they’ve been since Stricklin arrived
