Anyone else surprised that Zues ran a faster 40 than Cook?

I suppose it’s just harder to see because Zues isn’t as agile and runs downhill most of the time.

Very surprised. I’d have never guessed that and was shocked when I saw it.

Both have gotten way faster, the prep guy for them has earned his pay check.

Cook was always a shifty, football speed guy and Zeus a bulldozer looking for contact.

Neither had the highlight film of Chibb or Michel.

Not particularly.

We have seen zeus house the ball down the sidelines. Cook doesnt beat the angle (cook has taken it home up the middle, but that is more about beating one man than outrunning 3).

And it wasnt a significant amount faster if i recall.

4.40 to 4.42

Not a big difference and excellent times.Finished 1 and 2 among the SEC backs at the combine.

You're welcome

But when it came to SEC backs, White and Cook led the charge, ahead of Missouri Tyler Badie (4.45), LSU’s Ty Davis-Price (4.48), Ole Miss’ Jerrion Ealy (4.52), Alabama’s Brian Robinson (4.53) and Florida’s Dameon Pierce (4.59).

Todd Gurley must lose nothing to 40 pounds of pads as he is the fastest 4.52 guy i have ever seen. No one caught him.

Not surprised. Zeus lacks vision and hands, not speed and strength. I hope he can figure it out at the next level

He did impress with his catching ability at the combine and scouts have always liked his blocking.

I thought the NC was the best he's looked in regards to vision cutting ability
