Yeah, and they penciled themselves in to have an undefeated season but look where that got them. They lost. They aren't the world beaters that everyone thought they were.

And I still think you're a friggin troll. This is the closest UGA has been to the big game in 30 years and you're posting threads like this written diarrhea while everyone else is enjoying themselves for at least this week and maybe more.

This...and plenty more...

Has anybody who thinks 'Bama is so goddamned unbeatable even watched them play this year? They lack playmakers..their QB is a bigger pussy than Murray..their schedule has been complete garbage (except for the games they lost or almost lost)..and Saban is a sawed off runt

Bama is gonna have a hard time scoring next week..they are deeper than us, and will be favored by about 3.5..but are we fricking supposed to be scared of them?

I like UGA in this game

We should just call up Spurrier and tell him to go ahead and make the trip to Atlanta because they are more deserving of the chance to play the Titans of College football.

Who said anything about deserving to go to the game? I'm talking about who is likely to win...

Alabama has got to be the favorite. The UGA offensive line is middle of the road by SEC standards, and Murray is a guy with great stats but very few big wins. Maybe one or two in three years. He's not a big game, clutch quarterback...never could hack the big shows.

Unless something has changed -- mainly Murray's tendency to get agitated when facing pressure -- UGA goes down in flames.

I'm enjoying the delusional euphoria!! We haven't won anything of consequence in 10 years...so I'm getting a kick out of folks looking past Alabama towards the BCSNC.

This is what I'm talking about. Without a Gurley in beast mode it could very well be a super long day for Murray. Forget the records and Peyton Manning blah blah blah. He has to show up and own this game. Or history will own him, this is it!

If I'm betting, its against Murray handling bidness not Alabama homage. I will be glad to eat a flock of crows if AM ends up being the wolf and not the deer we all know he is.

That's a smart bet...But...

Alabama lacks the bigtime pass rush that gives Murray problems...I think he'll have time to take care of business..

And this years UGA team is much better than the one LSU dismantled last year...and there is no 'honey badger' or anything close to it on 'bama's team

We match up well with them..bring it on

Bama will be favored in the game. Current odds looks like about minus 8 for Bama. LINK Bama is a slight favorite in every statistical category except passing yardage and turnover differential. So yea, Bama is and should be favored but the statistical difference is most categories is not huge. My main concern is that UGA has allowed more than double the rushing yards; Bama has allowed on average only 77 rushing yards per game while our Dawgs have given up about 164 yards per game.

I have concerns about or D stopping the run but i feel like the entire defense is ready to rip some heads off and shite down their necks (look at Rambo and Tree yesterday).

JMFJ will ride AJ's punk arse into the turf and then go bang his mom.

UGA wins this going away 30 - 10

The 2005 SEC title and the 2008 Sugar Bowl don't mean anything? Go ahead and get a Bama tattoo and a can of skoal. You ain't a dawg.

Look Im as pessimistic as they come, but I am giving Georgia more than a punchers chance in this game. Even though we we haven't played a tough schedule, we performed how you would expect a much better team to. I mean, how in the frick could Bama have done any better with the stretch played? Maybe they would have beat GT by 75? No...they simply are not that much better than we are. They are saban coached and won 2 out of the last 3 NT>..but this Bama team is the most vulnerable I've seen in a long while. UGA has a great chance...assuming the guys play with the heart and drive I have watched come on late in the season...we can win.

The fact that we were able to establish a ground game against Florida makes me feel infinitely better about this game. Make no mistake; Alabama doesn't have the same defense they had last year and their OL has given up plenty of sacks this year. Murray is playing the best ball of his career right now and leads the nation in pass efficiency....and Alabama doesn't have Jadaveon Clowney.

Lucius. It's according to which UGA team shows up. UGA's "A" Game can thump Bama. "A" Game against "A" Game and it will be a close one that can go either way. IMO.
